Below is our complete Structures news coverage, including columns and articles pertaining to the band. Some articles listed may be indirectly related, such as side projects of the band members, etc.
Structures has checked in with the following announcement about lining up a farewell tour in December:
"We are saddened to announce that Structures will be going on an indefinite hiatus come 2015. This is not an easy decision considering how much we have put into this band since it's inception in 2009, however we all feel that a healthy break is necessary for each of us for various personal reasons. We are all on good terms and have made this decision collectively.
"We want to thank all of our fans, new and old, for supporting the music we have made throughout the last few years. You are what allowed us to live out our dreams and for that we are forever grateful. To all of the bands we have toured with and the friendships that have been formed along the way, thank you for the unforgettable times on the road and the great shows that we've shared. Thank you to Sumerian Records for giving us a platform to release our music. Thanks to Outerloop Management, Good Fight, Pantheon, Avocado and The Agency Group for all your help through the years.
"This tour will be a farewell tour of sorts, however, we are not fully closing the idea of picking things back up if and when the time is right. Who knows what tomorrow brings.
"We're also excited to have Nick joining us on these dates. It only makes sense that we finish off how we started. We will be playing songs from our entire catalogue.
"Looking forward to playing some fun shows around home with Obey The Brave, our hometown friends in Exalt and Villains. See you at the dates below and thanks for your support, we love you all."

Canadian outfit Structures has issued the following announcement about being turned away at the U.S. border:
"We are sad to announce that we were denied access into the United States last night at the border.
"This is the first time we have ever been turned away from entering the US to tour in the 4 years of being a band, so this is very unsettling for us as it is a matter that is COMPLETELY out of our hands.
"We can promise everyone who was expecting to see us that we are doing everything in our power to get into the country and we have been on the phone all day sorting out the quickest resolution.
"We are extremely let down with this situation and will keep you all updated as we hear more." More...
The sophomore full-length release from Structures, titled "Life Through A Window," is now officially set for a May 13th debut and was recorded by Will Putney (Body Count, Upon A Burning Body) at The Machine Shop.
Look for the band on tour across North America with Texas In July from April 22nd through May 10th, followed by a run with Counterparts. Check out the striking new track, "The Worst of Both Worlds" (featuring Drew York of Stray From The Path) via the lyric clip below. The band also comments:
"We changed things up this time around by incorporating programs like Logic and Protools to get our ideas together. For our previous releases we stuck to sitting in a room and jamming songs out, but this time around we felt like we also needed to log our ideas so we could change them on the go, as well as write on the road. This record combines all of our influences, as well as a sound we tried to achieve that we've never heard before. I think every musician can agree that when writing a new record, they try to achieve that sound that they themselves would like to hear.
"Going into the writing process, we knew what worked and what didn't after touring off of Divided By for so long. We definitely aimed to focus on our strengths on this release. We saw the success that came with Divided By, and we just knew in our hearts that we could do so much better and agreed that we would force ourselves to do so on this new record. We had the mindset that we would put everything we have into it otherwise it would be a waste of our time and we might as well break up. Unfortunately, that mindset came with the decision to make changes within our lineup. We parted ways with Nick, our original vocalist a few weeks before going to record. There were many reasons behind this and we are all still good friends, but we just needed to make a change if we wanted to see the band progress the way we've dreamed of.
"That being said, we felt like replacing Nick's duties on vocals would but unfair and a shot in the dark if we looked outwards, so we collectively made the decision to move Brendon, our guitarist, to vocals. This was a huge challenge for everyone seeing as though only 30% of the lyrics and patterns had been written and we had to enter the studio in 2 weeks. We literally worked day and night at Brendon's house honing in on the new vocal style. In retrospect, without working as hard as we did, the record wouldn't be what it turned out to be. We're all very proud of Brendon for stepping up on such short notice and killing it in the studio where he had to track vocals, track guitar, write guitar parts and write lyrics. This album is very special to the 3 of us and really brought us together as friends.
"This record is brutally honest in every aspect. It's definitely a look inside our personal lives and we think people will appreciate how sincere both the music and the lyrics are. This whole line-up change made us grow in many ways and we feel like this is absolutely our most mature release to date. Usually we'll listen back to a record months after finishing it, wishing we had done things differently, but this time we have no regrets and wouldn't change a thing. We're very proud of this album and we're confident that our fans will enjoy it, as well as people who have never heard us before." More...
This Spring, Texas In July will head out on a U.S. headline tour with support from Structures, Erra (4/22-4/27), Myka, Relocate (4/29-5/10), and Elitist.

Vocalist JT Cavey, who performed with Texas In July on a run with The Devil Wears Prada and on the Vans Warped Tour this past summer, was just recently announced as an official member of Texas In July. The band’s announcement and introduction to Cavey can be found below. Texas In July’s new album will be out later this year on Equal Vision Records.
“Going into this next run with JT being officially announced is extremely exciting. It's something that has been long awaited on our end, as well as our fans. We now have the opportunity to really share the new and improved TIJ, and what a better way than touring all throughout Canada and the US,” shares bassist Texas In July Ben Witkowski. “We’re really looking forward to meeting and talking with fans along the road about our recent changes! April can’t come any sooner!”
Cavey adds, "It is impossible to express my excitement to begin this tour through words, so I will channel my passion, as I have before, through my performances. I know we, as a band, have been longing to show old and new fans what the new Texas In July line-up is all about. We want to leave every pair of eyes and ears with a whole new intensity and fulfillment that you have never experienced from us before." More...

Structures has checked in with the following announcement about missing the final two dates of the band's current tour:
"Dear Detroit and Chicago, we are very upset to inform you we wont be able to make it to the 2 remaining shows of this tour.
"Coming back into Canada a few days ago was extremely difficult, and now coming back into the US is impossible as we have had fill ins on guitar and bass who don't have the correct paperwork to cross over. We are extremely sorry for this, but there is absolutely nothing we can do to make it across the border. We promise that we will be back in the new year with NEW music out.
"We understand that some things have been unclear over the last few months, but we are doing our very best to sort all of this out ASAP and fill all of you in on whats been going on with us.
"Again we are very sorry to anyone who missed us on this tour, we will be back in the new year. Thank you to everyone who came to see us this past month, as well as Veil of Maya, Northlane, Vildhjarta and Here Comes The Kraken for making it a great tour.

Structures has checked in with the following statement about the band's vocalist missing upcoming Australian tour dates:
"We are sad to announce that our vocalist Nick was not able to make the trip to New Zealand and Australia. It was brought to our attention 2 days prior to our flight that all of our passports had been lost in the mail. In order to get emergency passports issued we all needed to present two pieces of identification.
"Unfortunately, Nick's second piece of I.D was his passport and wasn't able to get the proper identification in order before the singularity tour due to time restrictions and being out-of province. We had 24 hours to get new passports made and received them 3 hours prior to our flight. This is a HUGE bummer for all of us and wish we had some sort of control over this.
"With that being said, we will have our tour manager and good friend Alex Lidstone fill in for Nick on vocal duties for this tour. Alex learned the lyrics and patterns ON the flight to New Zealand. We can't express how thankful we are for his last minute assistance with this emergency.
"If you know our lyrics, we encourage you to help us out and sing along with us this month. This is a dream come true, and the fact that the rest of us were able to make this tour is honestly nothing short of a miracle. Thanks for your understanding, we are making the absolute best out of this situation.
"Cant wait to see all your faces Australia!" More...

Every Time I Die's Keith Buckley (vocals) states: “We've always put a lot of effort into making this band work and when we perform we do so at the highest level of intensity, so to finally be deemed an 'AllStar' is a dream come true. I plan on relaxing in a hot tub with Wade Boggs or smoking huge cigars with Ronnie Harmon talking about our visits to Hollywood. Those are just some casual things us AllStars do when we're not giving 110%. But that's rare. This tour has a solid line-up and we're excited to be a part of it. See you all this summer.”

After a solid year of touring, After the Burial picks up in 2012 by joining up with Whitechapel for the "Recorruptour," which kicks off on March 10th. This trek, presented by Alternative Press, MerchNow and Rockstar Energy, also features Miss May I and The Plot In You with Structures and Within The Ruins on certain dates.
Justin Lowe (guitars) states: “We're all super happy to announce that we are going to quit drinking for a couple days and write a new album. There is no telling what it is going to sound like, because it is hasn't been recorded yet. However, one thing we can say, is that it will be an AFTER THE BURIAL album because we will be the ones performing on the record, and that is the name of our band. Ok, now seriously!
"We are really excited to have the opportunity to get back into the studio to complete a new album by early next spring. It will be just in time for us to hit the road with our friends in Whitechapel. We'll be doing the usual pre-production videos here and there, so make sure you stop by our Facebook page here for plenty of updates. See you all soon.”
