PHOBIA are currently streaming the track “If You Used To Be Punk, Then You Never Were” online now via the Decibel Magazine blog. “If You Used To Be Punk…” comes from PHOBIA’s forthcoming EP, "Unrelenting," that will see its North American release on November 23rd. "Unrelenting" is 17 new PHOBIA tracks, clocking in at over 14 minutes.
Additionally, PHOBIA will team up with EYEHATEGOD for a run of southern U.S. tour dates starting November 30th in Birmingham, AL. The bands will also be joined by CROWBAR and GOATWHORE on select dates. A listing of confirmed tour dates and cities can be found below.

California metal band MURDER CONSTRUCT has posted a new track, “End Of An Error,” online via SickDrummerMagazine.com. The track is posted along with live video of the band performing “End Of An Error” during their west coast dates with VENOMOUS CONCEPT in September. “End Of An Error” comes from the band’s forthcoming debut EP that will see its release on November 23rd on CD, LP and digitally.
MURDER CONSTRUCT have recently confirmed a record release show in support of their EP for Saturday, November 27th at 3 Clubs (1123 N. Vine St) in Hollywood.
MURDER CONSTRUCT features Travis Ryan (CATTLE DECAPITATION) on vocals, Leon del Muerte (EXHUMED, PHOBIA, IMPALED) on guitar and vocals, Kevin Fetus (FETUS EATERS, WATCH ME BURN) on guitar, Danny Walker (INTRONAUT, EXHUMED, UPHILL BATTLE) on drums, and Caleb Schneider (BAD ACID TRIP) on bass.

MUNICIPAL WASTE has announced the “WASTE THE WORLD TOUR 2009” Providing direct support on the tour will be GOATWHORE from 11/06-11/16, THE ACCUSED, from 11/18-12/03, and BRUTAL TRUTH from 12/04-12/11. Appearing on all shows will be PHOBIA and CAULDRON.
Singer Tony Foresta, had the following to say about the upcoming tour. “I’m really excited to finally get back on the road and do a full headlining WASTE tour in the states. It’s been a really long time since we’ve done on our own headlining run and I think it has been long past due. People should expect a far more rowdier gig then the ones we’ve played while opening for bands. I’m looking forward to trashing venues all over the states. Maryland Deathfest has announced Cephalic Carnage and Cattle Decapitation as replacements for Enslaved, Keep of Kalessin, and Swallow The Sun, whose North American tour together was scrapped. One more band will be announced before January 1st.
Maryland Deathfest VII will take place on May 22-24, 2009, at Sonar, Baltimore, MD. Tickets are currently on sale.

Bolt Thrower has released this bit of news regarding their first trip to the USA in 14 years:
"Due to the fact that we are not real festival lovers or great fans of flying, the chances of us ever coming to the States for a one-off show was always very small. But after years of relentless emails from Ryan we've finally given in. It's hard to believe that it's been 14 years since we last played in the US, so we are very happy to announce that we are finally coming back. Bolt Thrower will be playing Maryland Deathfest VII, on May 22-24, 2009, at Sonar, Baltimore, MD."
A few more bands were exected to be included in this announcement, but the organizers are still working on the details. Therefore, another announcement is expected with even more band confirmations in the near future, as they wrap up the booking process for Maryland Deathfest 2009
Tickets will definitely go on sale on Friday, November 7th.

Netherlands based grindcore act INHUME have begun work on material for forthcoming releases, of which a split with California's PHOBIA, as well as the band's fourth full length album will be included.

Grind bands Phobia and Disrupt will team up for a split release in early-2008. The release will feature live material and will appear on CD format in addition to either 7" or 12" vinyl. Additional details will be issued shortly.
You can check out a new song from PHOBIA entitled “Give Me Genocide” online over at their official MySpace page. The track comes off the band’s forthcoming split with EXTINCTION OF MANKIND which will be released in January by Profane Existence.
PHOBIA have posted the following update:
“We are hopefully going to be entering the studio in mid-January to record a new LP. We have pretty much half the material written, and we are all really excited with the new songs and we are sure you will be as well! We’re still working stuff out with the DVD release. It’s been a long process, but how ever this is normal for such releases.
PHOBIA will be appearing at next year’s Maryland Deathfest, and a short tour with friends MAGRUDERGRIND to follow…”
Intronaut has announced the departure of guitarist/vocalist Leon del Muerte, who has left the group to focus on resurrecting his Murder Construct project, in addition to bass duties for Phobia. Taking his spot in Intronaut is Dave Timnick. According to the band, "Dave is a very talented and proficient musician, we're stoked. In addition to being a great guitar player, he is also a skilled percussionist and has studied tabla with Aloke Dutta. We can't wait to get things going with this revamped lineup!"
Meanwhile, del Muerte has the following to say:
"I had a lot of fun playing and learning new things with Intronaut and got to tour with some great bands and made a lot of new friends. Ultimately, I feel I've just strayed too far from my roots and could not hold back the other members of the band with my single-minded desire to grind. Peace, bitches!"
