Zealot R.I.P. (Pig Destroyer, Etc.) Premiere Song
Zealot R.I.P., the band featuring vocalist Blake Harrison (Pig Destroyer), guitarists Mike Schleibaum (Darkest Hour) and Peter Tsouras (Olympia, Fairweather), and drummer Jason Hamacher (Frodus, Decahedron), premiere a new song entitled “The Red Queen Phenomenon”. The song is taken from their upcoming new album "The Extinction Of You", which will be out in stores September 10 through Three One G Records.

Pig Destroyer Announces New Live Album
Grindcore veterans Pig Destroyer has announced a brand new live album, "Pornographers Of Sound: Live in NYC'." The album will have a limited vinyl pressing and will be released on June 11th, but the record can already be heard in full via the Relapse Records YouTube page, or below.
Pig Destroyer comments: "We love playing St. Vitus, and had a blast recording these two sets there in October of 2019. Although we are currently writing a new record, we hope this document will fill in the gap for no live shows!"

Scour Premiere New Music Video “Flames”
Scour - featuring Phil Anselmo (Down, ex-Pantera, etc.), John Jarvis (Agoraphobic Nosebleed), Derek Engemann (Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, ex-Cattle Decapitation), Mark Kloeppel (ex-Misery Index) and Adam Jarvis (Pig Destroyer, Lock Up) - premiere a new official music video for their new single “Flames”. The track is taken from their new EP, “Black“, out in stores now via Nuclear Blast Records.
Scour Premiere New Music Video "Doom"
Scour - featuring Phil Anselmo (Down, ex-Pantera, etc.), John Jarvis (Agoraphobic Nosebleed), Derek Engemann (Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, ex-Cattle Decapitation), Mark Kloeppel (ex-Misery Index) and Adam Jarvis (Pig Destroyer, Lock Up) - premiere a new official music video for their track “Doom”. The track is taken from their new EP, “Black“, out in stores now.
The band tapped two special guests for this new song and video: actor Jason Momoa (‘Aquaman‘, ‘Game Of Thrones‘) and Hate Eternal guitarist Erik Rutan.
Damnation Festival 2020 Officially Cancelled
The organisers of Britain's Damnation Festival has made the unfortunate announcement the 2020 edition of the event has had to be cancelled. A statement issued by the festival page reads as followss:
"We gave it every chance we could but in the end, there was no hope we could host even a scaled-down event in eight weeks' time.
"It's a sore one, but with the likes Pig Destroyer, Onslaught and Pallbearer all but tied up for next year, and an incredible package of black, death and doom being confirmed as we speak, 2021 is going to be a line-up worth the two-year wait. We guarantee it.
Tickets can be refunded or rolled over and we're going to organise some merch to mark this giant hole in our calendar.
"Last night Paul and I recorded a podcast to get properly into the cancellation; what it means for us, what it means for you, the future of the event, bands we want to (will!) see booked etc.
We also took the opportunity to look back over the years, regrets and highlights, including missing out on Ghost, Gojira and Bring Me The Horizon, Turisas' tour manager being less than complimentary about our fine festival and that bloody fire alarm!
"Thanks for the incredible support down the years, with your backing we'll be back punching well above our weight in 2021."
Pig Destroyer To Release New EP
Pig Destroyer return with their new EP, "The Octagonal Stairway," coming August 28 through Relapse Records. A blistering dose of grindcore, harsh noise, and industrial swagger, "The Octagonal Stairway" features sic crushing tracks from the legendary band, B-side noise tracks, and a special appearance from Iggor Cavalera.

John Jarvis Launches Grindcore Band
John Jarvis (also Pig Destroyer/Scour/Agoraphobic Nosebleed) launches a baseball-themed grindcore outfit called, Kolten Wong City - a spin on the band Kowloon Walled City and the St. Louis Cardinals‘ Kolten Wong.
That band’s debut EP “Expressed Written Consent” is scheduled for a March 28th release and a stream of the first single titled “Beat The Shift” from it can be streamed below.
