ADEPT premiered the music video for “Parting Ways” today, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below. Adept Unveils "Blood Covenant" Music Video
Today, Adept unveil their latest video "Blood Covenant," further stoking the metal scene’s excitement for the eponymous "Blood Covenant," their long awaited fifth studio album out 24th October, 2025, via Napalm Records. The title track and album opener shows Adept wielding spacey, dancing guitar leads that bring you into the emotionally captivating world of "Blood Covenant." Arriving nine years after their most recent album, metalcore pioneers Adept keep their sound diverse, making sure their triumphant comeback will have been well worth the wait.
Formed in the early 2000s in Trosa, Sweden, Adept helped shape the early European metalcore landscape, rising to prominence through passionate songwriting, high-octane live shows, and raw emotional energy, touring with genre mainstays like Bring Me The Horizon, Underoath, and A Day To Remember. Adept Posts "Carry The Weight" Video
Adept just released a new music video taken off the upcoming "Sleepless" album - check out "Carry The Weight" below. Napalm Records comments:
"Is there a better or more beautiful reason for lack of a good night`s sleep than Adept? These Swedes have been around since 2004, and with their diverse brand of post hardcore / metalcore they've easily turned into Scandinavia's best known genre export - whilst also proving with their fourth full length Sleepless, that years of sweaty live shows and persistence have provided the ultimate fine-tuning!
"Adept is hosting a special listening party for 'Sleepless' today at 7:00 PM GMT (2:00 PM EST). Adept Releases New Music Video
Swedish outfit Adept recently signed with Austria's Napalm Records and years of sweaty live shows have provided the ultimate fine-tuning for the band's upcoming album "Sleepless."
Today the band premieres a first video from the album for the song "Dark Clouds" - check it out below. Adept also comments:
"'Dark Clouds' is about being in a depression and more importantly; the way out of it. Having to watch people struggle with this we wanted to illustrate that battle in this video. To show the light in the tunnel. To cut loose from the dark clouds."

Adept Signs With Napalm Records
Swedish outfit Adept just announced a worldwide signing with Napalm Records. Upcoming album "Sleepless" is already in the starting blocks & set to be released on February 19, 2016. The band comments:
"We are happy to announce that we have signed with Austria's finest Napalm Records. We can also reveal that our new album 'Sleepless' will be released on February 19th. Originally planned to be released summer 2015 this album has been an absolute roller coaster to make.
"Recorded in January and then re-recorded in September we can finally shine a light on this album. Through the ups and downs we created something truly beautiful with 'Sleepless.' Six More Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2011
The organizers of Belgium's largest metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, have announced that six more bands have been confirmed for this year's edition of the event. Three More Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2011
The organizers of Belgium's premier heavy metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, have announced three more names for this year's edition of the festival. Thrash metal super group Dublin Death Patrol, which features Testament frontman Chuck Billy and Hatriot/former Exodus vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza, will be performing at the event, as will Rise To Remain, which includes Austin Dickinson, the son o iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, as well as All Shall Perish. Cavalera Conspiracy Confirmed For Graspop 2011
The organizers of Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting festival have announced that Cavalera Conspiracy, the band featuring Sepultura founders Igor and Max Cavalera, have been confirmed for the event. Also added to the bill is Russian folk metal band Arkona. Neither band's performance date has been confirmed as of yet however. The festival takes place in the town of Dessel from June 24th-26th.
