Shadows Fall Announces New York City Show
Shadows Fall has issued the following announcement about performing a New York City show at the Santos Party House:
"Shadows Fall is pleased to announce their first and only New York City performance this year, taking place at Santos Party House on December 18th, 2010. Santos Party House is an intimate venue, so this particular show should not be missed by any metal fan! A limited amount of pre-sale tickets will be available to fans beginning today at 3pm ET.

The listening party will begin at 10pm, and happens to be the last stop on the annual Heavy Hitter Inc. CMJ Bar Crawl. This event and the crawl are 21+.

Shadows Fall Reveals New DVD Tracklisting
Massachusetts modern metallers Shadows Fall has revaled the tracklisting for it's forthcoming live concert DVD. The DVD, titled "Madness In Manila: Shadows Fall Live In The Philippines 2009," is set to be released on October 26, 2010 through Everblack Industries/Ferret Music. Footage for the DVD was captured on April 30, 2009 at the Pulp Summer Slam in Manila, Philippines.

Springfield, Massachusetts melodic metallers Shadows Fall has revealed the dates for its upcoming tour of Asia taking place this fall. The band has confirmed concerts for South Korea, China, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines. The confirmed dates and venues can be found below:

Shadows Fall has announced an appearance at this year's edition of the Kaboom Festival, which takes place on September 12th, 2010 in Springfield, MA. Other confirmed acts include Thy Will Be Done, Suffokate, and Our Last Night. A promotional teaser video for the festival can be viewed below.

Shadows Fall, Unearth Members Form New Band
An as of yet untitled project featuring Matt Bachand and Jon Donais on guitars (Shadows Fall), Derek Kerswill on drums (Unearth/Seemless), and Jeff Fultz on bass (Seemless), has begun to take shape. The band has recorded a five song demo thus far, and are actively seeking a vocalist.
"We are looking for one crazy bastard with the energy, the drive, and the determination to take this thing to the next level," says Matt Bachand. Jon Donais adds, "The vocalist we seek should be influenced by a variety of melodically based bands anywhere from Alice In Chains, Shinedown, and Aerosmith, to Skid Row and Pantera.” You must be serious about the position, and must be able to tour extensively. Demo submissions are currently being accepted. Submissions should include a bio and list of past experience, photo, audio and/or video performance, and any other information you would like the band to know.

Massachusetts metalcore act Shadows Fall are set to release a new concert DVD, titled "Madness In Manila: Shadows Fall Live In The Philippines 2009", on August 24 via Everblack Industries and Ferret Music. The DVD will include pro-shot footage that was taken on April 30, 2009 at the Pulp Summer Slam festival in Manila, Philippines.

Shadows Fall Drummer Announces Live Performances
Jason Bittner, the drummer for metalcore act Shadows Fall, will be appearing at two Daddy's stores in the northeast U.S.; June 15th in Williston, VT, and June 22 in Boston, MA. A $10 ticket gets a performance, clinic and Bittner's signature series sticks.

Korn And Hatebreed Pay Tribute To Slipknot Bassist
As was reported yesterday, Slipknot bass player Paul Gray was found dead in a Urbandale, Iowa hotel room at around 10:50 yesterday morning, with the cause of death currently unknown. Several of his peers have posted tributes online, including a video message from Munky of Korn. You can check out the tributes below.

I had the pleasure of first getting to know him on a press trip to New York City before our tour with Slipknot and Lamb Of God in 2005 and then sharing stages and good times with him and the boys around the world. He was a great musician, an underrated songwriter and a truly warm soul underneath the evil mask he rocked onstage. This is a huge loss to the metal world. He will be missed deeply."
