Danish metal band Raunchy has announced a headlining European tour for September/October. This will be the live debut for the band's new vocalist, Mike Semesky. Supporting the tour will be Diamond Drive and But We Try It. Currently announced dates are as follows:

German act But We Try It, which recruited a new drummer earlier this year, has now issued the following announcement about finishing the writing process for a new album:
"Hey everybody, here's the big update from the BWTI headquarter. It was a bit silent the last weeks, but we're working hard. And now we have to announce some very interesting news.
"Last week we finished writing songs for the new album. We're pretty satisfied with the new material. Within the next weeks, we'll hit the studio and record all these tunes. Surely we'll keep you updated about the progress.
"The second great news is that we will play show again at the end of the year. For now we confirmed a show together with The Sorrow in Cologne at 11th of November. But there is more to come. Currently we're planing a Minitour for beginning of November. So this it is for now, but you'll hear from us soon!"
German progressive metalcore act But We Try It announced that Tim has joined the band as its new drummer. Tim replaces Mark who departed the band in November 2011. The band commented on the coming of Tim:
"Now it's official! We have a new drummer and he is called Tim. He already helped us out for a show in December and now becomes a full member of the BWTI-Team. He is really, really talented and also motivated to take the next steps with us in the future. Finally, the boy proved his strong skills in drinking booze with us and he's a very handsome guy. So he is the perfect choice for us :)"

Germany's But We Try It has issued the following announcement about splitting with the band's drummer and seeking a replacement:
"From now on But We Try It is searching for a new drummer. Due to musical differences we have decided to part ways with our original drummer Mark. The band honestly wants to thank Mark for all the work, energy and passion he put into the band for the last four years.
"What we have to offer:
- Touring activities (last tour with with Illdisposed, Raunchy and Arcadia)
- Full commitment to the music
- Studio recordings for the new album within the next year
- A rehearsal room with heating in Wuppertal/Germany

But We Try It has posted a music video online for the song "The Gift And The Curse," which can be viewed below. "The Gift And The Curse" is taken from the band's "Dead Lights" album.
Germany's But We Try It has posted a trailer online for the band's debut "Dead Lights" album. You can watch the clip below. "Dead Lights" was produced by Waldemar Sorychta (Grip inc., Tiamat), recorded at Woodhouse Studios Germany, with mixing and mastering handled by Siggi Bemm (Tiamat, Lacuna Coil).
German progressive metalcore act But We Try It has announced its signing with Massacre Records. The signing comes in time for the band to release its debut full length album, titled "Dead Light." The new album is set for release on January 28, 2010 and was recorded at Woodhouse studio in Hagen, Germany with producer Waldemar Sorychta.
