Brisbane’s Eternal Rest today announces a new addition to the lineup, as well as some news for the upcoming year.
Liam Strong now joins the band on guitar and has released, with permission from Nuclear Blast Records, a play through video of Decapitated riffs showcasing Liam’s guitar skills, which can be viewed below. He comments:
"I’m really excited to be part of Eternal Rest and what next year has in store. Ideas locked instantly and I already feel the fire starting to burn. Writing is well underway for album 2, news will continue to be released leading into the New Year. Stay tuned for the first live dates with the new line up!"

Brisbane band Eternal Rest has released an official video for "Onset Of Destruction," the seventh track from its new one "Prophetic." That album is out now through Deepsend Records, recorded and mixed by Joe Haley (Psycroptic). Stream all nine tracks of it over on bandcamp, and view the video below.
Australian tech-death merchants Eternal Rest have just released the official music video for the song "Manifestation," taken from their critically-acclaimed debut "Prophetic." Recorded and mixed by Joe Haley of Psycroptic, "Prophetic" was released in April of this year by Deepsend Records. Digital and physical copies can be purchased at the label's bandcamp page. Australian death metallers Eternal Rest will release their debut album, "Prophetic," on April 16th in North America via Deepsend Records. Pre-orders are available now at this location. Deepsend Records comments:

Deepsend Records has issued the following year-end statement and announcement about upcoming new albums from Hybrid, Eternal Rest, and more:

Deepsend Records has announced the signing of Australia's Eternal Rest, and the label will release the band's debut album, "Prophetic," in early 2013. The album was recorded and mixed by Joe Haley (Psycroptic). Eternal Rest hails from Brisbane, Australia.

Australian extreme metallers Eternal Rest have announced that their forthcoming debut album will be titled "Prophetic" and will be released worldwide in Spring 2012. The album has been recorded and engineered by Joe Haley (Psycroptic).
The band has also announced the completion of its lineup, adding Josh Robinson on vocals and Jannico Kelk on bass.
Guitarist Jake Kaiser comments: “It has been a long journey since the start of our album recording, finding/auditioning new members, recording in many different locations and rehearsing constantly, but we’re pleased to say that our debut album 'Prophetic' is finally finished. The material on this album is a big step up from anything we have previously recorded, with the addition of new members adding their skills and working with an amazing engineer (Joe Haley - Psycroptic) we could not be any more excited to get this album out for you all to hear.”

Brisbane’s Eternal Rest has recently announced they are entering the studio again this December to record their first full length CD. The recording will take place in Tasmania, with Joe Haley (Psycroptic) recording and producing the record. Whilst the band is down south recording they will also be playing some shows around Tasmania. Dates, titles, track listing and more big news regarding the release will be announced soon.
