Photos from the March 29 As I Lay Dying / Throwdown / All That Remains show at Richard's on Richards in Vancouver, BC have been posted here.
I caught the As I Lay Dying show with Throwdown and All That Remains when the tour came through Vancouver, BC on March 29 at Richard's on Richards. I actually had the chance to see all three bands live at the Commodore Ballroom on separate occasions in 2004: As I Lay Dying on the In Flames tour in May, Throwdown with Fear Factory and Lamb of God in October, and All That Remains with Gwar in November. Unlike the Commodore, which houses no more than 1000 people, Richard's on Richards was even smaller, which I personally prefer over huge stadiums. As I Lay Dying was having trouble getting across the border and was stuck there for four hours. As a result, the band didn't arrive at the venue until almost 7 and so they had to push back the entire show. More...

The Orion Online has posted an article on All That Remains:
Though they have been touring for a month opening for Gwar -- metal's most grotesque band of latex-fleshed costume freaks -- the up-and-comers of metalcore's All That Remains remain comfortable in their own skin.
"Gwar is awesome," said Remains lead singer Philip Labonte. "The costumes work for them, but we do our own thing."
All That Remains is a quintet of Massachusetts metal-heads who are heavy into thrashing guitars, machine-gun drumming and throat-ripping scream/singing.
All these things they will demonstrate when they roll into Chico Saturday for a night of metal mayhem at the Senator Theatre with Gwar and Dying Fetus.

On November 24, Gwar played a sold-out show at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC, along with All That Remains and Dying Fetus. I have never seen any of the bands live before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially Gwar. I have heard stories about Gwar’s shows but it’s just not the same as experiencing it yourself. More...
