Psyopus have dropped of their tour with Swarm Of The Lotus, Ion Dissonance, and Strong Intention. According to the band, their drummer is "MIA." Here's a statement from the group:
"It is deeply upsetting to us but, for those in the band who were dedicated to this tour, our control over other people is imaginary. We would be out there if we could be. We'll still be playing Hellfest this year with our original drummer Greg Herman and we'll be aiming to get a couple extra shows in too so we don't lose our asses financially. We are in a bind right now as you could imagine. Sorry."
The band is in debt to the tune of $2000 for the month, so be a good sport and buy some of their merch.
Canada's Ion Dissonance have released the following update:

Both Canadian (last April) and American (June) tour were awesome thanks to all of you who showed to the shows and had a good time, i know we did. And thanks to all of our mates, in Despised Icon, From a Second Story Window, Reflux, and On Broken Wings, 'cause of them we had an even better time. You guys have no ideas how grateful we are...

Paria have finished a short tour with From A Second Story Window and are heading home to take a break and write. Here is the update:
"We are home from our east coast venture with our good pals From A Second Story Window. It was a short tour, but we had a great time playing shows and hanging out with those dudes. In that tour we played New England Metal Fest, which was a blast, as well as three dates with Minneapolis metal maniacs Nehemiah including their CD release show. Pictures from Metal Fest can be found here. We want to throw a special thanks out to those guys for having us for those three days and we wish them the best of luck with their new disc. Go pick it up kids!"
We will be home for the next two months (aside from Dustin who will be on tour with Analog) to write some new material for our next full length. We are planning on touring all of July and August as well as a short Canadian run with Ion Dissonance in September when their new CD on Abacus records is released. Plans are still in the works so keep checking back for that."
In other news, Schecter guitars have endorsed Paria. And Jones Soda has worked out a deal with the band and will be printing their album cover on 25,000 bottles of soda. They will be hitting shelves later this summer.

Premonitions Of War have reportedly dropped off their current Canadian tour with Ion Dissonance and Despised Icon. This information hasn't officially been confirmed (read: call specific venues for confirmation), however, POW has been a no-show for dates thus far. At this point it appears that both illness and border-crossing issues are to blame.

In May they will enter the studio with producer Pierre Rémillard (Cryptopsy, The End) to record their Abacus debut, entitled "Solace." The Canadian deathcore six-piece Despised Icon will embark on massive Canadian tour alongside Ion Dissonance and Premonitions of War late this month. The band will also make their first appearance in the U.S. at the Maryland Deathfest late May. Look for additional U.S. dates this summer.
Despised Icon's highly anticipated sophomore release, "The Healing Process," was produced by guitarist Yannick St-Amand (Ion Dissonance, Neuraxis), mixed by J-F Dagenais (Misery Index, Kataklysm) and mastered by Alan Douches (Shadows Fall, Dillinger Escape Plan). This album, set for an April 5th release, is a relentless slab of sheer aggression matched with impeccable time changes that quickly raises the bar for their peers.
