The Iniquity Descent Posts New Music Video

Avant-garde black metal act The Iniquity Descent, featuring Finntroll vocalist Vreth (known in TID as his real name Mathias Lillmåns), posted a new music video for the track "The Human Apheresis." The song is the title track of the band's 2012 debut full length LP, which is available through Massacre Records. This is the second video for the release, the first of which - "Collector v. Protector" - can be seen over at this location.

The Iniquity Descent and Graveborne

Following a rather hectic couple of days on the Spinefeast boat, I was lucky to be able to be alive enough to attend a rather unique show the following Friday. But, drawing inspiration from that determined spirit of Finnish Sisu, I stifled the headache with advil and corona and went on my merry way! The Iniquity Descent Finishes Recording Album

After signing with Massacre Records late last year, Finnish act The Iniquity Descent has now checked in with the following brief announcement about finishing the recording of a new album:

"The album recordings are over and we just got confirmed that we will head off to Tallinn, Estonia, RoundSound Studio 3.2-6.2 to mix our album. Good times!"

The Iniquity Descent Signs With Massacre Records

Massacre Records has issued the following announcement about officially inking a deal with The Iniquity Descent:

"We're happy to announce the signing of The Iniquity Descent from Finland! The quintet was formed about 2 years ago by the band's guitarist Mikael Mannström. He and vocalist and lyricist Mathias Lillmåns were childhood friends and already have had several projects together. Later on the second guitarist Philip Kerbs, bassist Jonas Frilund and drummer Kenna Nygård joined the band too.

"In November 2010 The Iniquity Descent released their first 4-track EP 'Trust The Serpent,' which was followed by a mini tour in Russia and several gigs in Finland.

"Their second EP 'An Empty Temple' was released in late September 2011. The recordings of The Iniquity Descent's debut album have already started."

The Iniquity Descent Issues New EP Update

The Iniquity Descent, the new project featuring Finntroll's Vreth, has checked in with the following update about working on new material:

"First day off mixing is over! The basic sound has been found and the first two songs of the EP are very near their final state, only some minor changes to do tomorrow. The overall sound is really great and powerful!

"The mixing session will will continue throughout the weekend and next Tuesday is scheduled for mastering. The mastering will take place at Nordic Audio Labs by Sami 'Hannu' Koivisto and us. Stay tuned for more news!"

Finntroll vocalist Vreth has started a new project entitled The Iniquity Descent. The band is currently streaming a medley of unmixed samples of new material, which can be heard via The Inquity Descent's new MySpace profile.
