New York's Divine Infamy has checked in with the following update about new live shows:
"Hey guys & gals we just want to tell you about our upcoming performances and invite you to come check us out. On 2/12/11 at 6PM in the Bronx, NYC we are playing at The Point (940 Garrison Ave, 10474). All ages welcome and entrance fee is $10!
"On 2/13/11 at 7PM in Manhattan, NYC we are playing at Bowery Electric (327 Bowery, NYC). 18+ and entrance fee is $15! We'll be sharing the stage with Death Sick, Hypoxia, and Carnal (Columbia).
"On 3/18/11 at 4PM in Trenton, NJ we are playing at Championship Bar and Grill (931 Chambers Street, Trenton NJ). All ages are welcome and entrance fee is $12! We will be opening for international recording artist BLACKGUARD! Come out and support true metal!"
New York's Divine Infamy has issued the following end-of-year update and announcement about searching for a keyboardist:
"Greetings to all. The New Year is looking pretty promising for us & we will be putting out our first full length CD sometime in the early spring. We're also planning to audition keyboardists to add a symphonic edge to our music.
"This will be a very busy year for us as we are also planning to play some international shows if all works in our favor. Updates will be posted as we receive them. Have a safe & prosperous New Year!"
New York's Divine Infamy, whose former vocalist Purgatory was arrested for robbery, has issued the following announcement about recruiting a new vocalist:
"After auditioning several highly skilled musicians we have come to a final decision as to who will be our new vocalist. We would like to welcome Ravana into the band & we can assure you all that he will be bringing his own unique style to our music."
Guitarist Lord Draconova of New York death metal act Divine Infamy has issued the following announcement about seeking a new vocalist:
"We are currently holding auditions for a new vocalist. In light of Purgatory’s arrest and indictment, we have decided to begin auditioning potential replacements to fill the vacancy in our band. This decision has been made because her long-term fate is uncertain at this point & we must carry on. In the end, this is what she would have wanted. Our best wishes are with her and her family. Guitarist Lord Draconova of New York death metal act Divine Infamy, whose vocalist Purgatory was recently arrested for robbery, has issued the following update about recruiting a new member to the band:
"Divine Infamy welcomes our new bassist Zolatoi! On behalf of Divine Infamy I would like to welcome Zolatoi to the band who kicked major ass last night at our performance at the Water Grill in Brooklyn NYC. To our fans you can expect more brutal music coming from us very very soon."

As was previously reported, the Divine Infamy vocalist has been arrested for robbery in New York. The band has now issued the following statement thanking fans for their support and announcing plans for a new full-length:
"We would like to thank all of you for supporting us in this time of chaos and uncertainty. The internet is flooded with our band's name & we have received mixed reviews from people as a result. We can promise you this. Our drive to do what we love to do has increased tenfold and we will never stop. To those who hate us for the sake of hating us, thank you for your negative press as your words will influence others to check us out and expose our music to people who may like it.

MSNBC.com is reporting that 28 year old Shanna Spalding, who goes by the stage name Purgatory in New York death metal band Divine Infamy, was arrested leaving a SoHo store she had allegedly robbed while wearing a cat mask. Spalding is also suspected of robbing three other stores while wearing the cat mask.
Divine Infamy's MySpace blog was updated today with the following brief message indicating the band will still be playing upcoming live shows: "Despite what has been happening with our vocalist we WILL be playing The Water Grill tomorrow night as planned."
