Doom Metal Front Streaming New Compilation

German doom metal magazine Doom Metal Front, now on its tenth print issue as well, is streaming the newest and eighth of its renowned compilations. The anthology, titled "Tears from the Mediterranean," features 50 bands from southern European countries and Mediterranean island nations such as Malta. You may also stream the previous five compilations on that page and listen to the full tome below.

Doom Metal Front is an independent, bilingual (German/English), printed and digital paper spreading the doom over the world. They prefer sluggish riffing, slow rocking and experimental droning stuff, because they are 'born too late.' They ascribe to the belief that 'if you think this music is kind of paralyzing, then you are definitely too fast.'

In Loving Memory Releases Album

Spanish melodic doom metal band In Loving Memory has released it's new album "Negation of Life," and is streaming a couple of new songs from it over on MySpace. One of the tracks streaming, "Even a God Can Die," was recently featured on the BadMoodMan 2011 compilation. Since it's last album "Tragedy & Moon," In Loving Memory has added a new singer in the form of guitarist/vocalist Juanma. Below is a video upload of another new song "Skilled Nihilism," which comes with the lyrics on the screen.

Spain's In Loving Memory is currently in The Rock Studios in Bilbao recording an upcoming album. The band has checked in with the following update on the recording process:

"Hi folks! We have just finished today the recording of rhythm guitars that with the drums are the base of the music. Right now this new album rhythm section is sounding more powerful then ever. We'll record this Sunday the lead & harmonic guitars as well as acoustic ones. Monday will be the time for bass. We'll keep you updated."

In Loving Memory Enters The Studio

Spain's In Loving Memory has issued the following announcement about entering the studio again to record the songs for an upcoming album:

"Hi guys! After the crack of our last studio effort, in which we wasted time and money to record, mix and master our new album 'Negation Of Life,' we're back into a new studio, The Rock Studios in Bilbao, to record (again) all the tracks. Hopefully now all will be OK, and we're sorry for the this delay on releasing the album."
