Maim Splits With Guitarist

Sweden's Maim has issued the following announcement about parting ways with the band's guitarist:

"OK folks, some updates from Maim-camp! Joakim 'Scott' Andersson has left the band and we would like to thank him for all the great memories we have shared together and we wish him the best of luck in his future musical projects!

"Maim will continue on as a three-piece. Rehearsals are going great and we are very exited to present some new filthy tunes in the near future.

"Resurrected In Festering Slime" To Be Re-Issued

On Friday, June 24th the "Resurrected in Festering Slime" death metal compilation will become available in CD format. This compilation album was originally released only on vinyl through Soulseller Records and rapidly sold out. The CD edition is limited to 800 copies world wide and features revamped artwork.

The compilation features 16 tracks from Tormented, Darkcreed, Stench, Mr. Death, Maim, Bombs Of Hades, Morbus Chron, Crucifyre, and more. Ordering information is available at info@agoniarecords.com.

Massive Assault Announces New Live Shows

Massive Assault has issued the following announcement about upcoming tour dates and the release of the new "Slayer" EP:

"The Slayer EP will be released within a few days, so the wait is almost over. We've shown you the cover and we'll tell you it'll have 5 songs on it! And it will be brutal! Rico, from FDA Rekotz is currently busy planning our tour with Maim in June 2011 throughout Germany. The dates are:

Maim Comments On New Album Release

Swedish death metal act Maim has issued the following announcement about the release of the band's new album "Deceased to Exist:"

"Deceased to Exist is released! Soulseller records will start shipping pre-orders this week. Make sure to order your copy at this location if you haven't already. Certain distros, online stores and regular stores will have record in stock shortly. Cheers!

Maim Finishes New Album

Maim has issued the following update about finishing the recording of a new album:

"All right people, this is what you've been waiting for! Our new album is finally finished. The title for the new album is 'Deceased To Exist.' It will be released on LP and CD in early 2011 through Soulseller Records. We will of course let you know when the album is out.

"We have uploaded 3 new songs from the album. Covet Death, Screams of the Mutilated & Evil Smell of Death. The amazing cover art is made by Mattias Frisk (Vanhelgd) We have an upcoming show on the 18th of december at L'Orient, Linköping, Sweden Tormented, Sorcery and Morbus Chron are also on the bill. It will be a great night so make sure to show up. New T-shirts and merchandise will be available soon. We also have a new Facebook page where we keep you further updated on what's going on in maimcamp."
