Killswitch Engage Announces Headlining Tour
Grammy-nominated, Massachusetts-based hard rockers Killswitch Engage – singer Jesse Leach, guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, bassist Mike D'Antonio, guitarist Joel Stroetzel and drummer Justin Foley - have announced the first headline tour in support of new album "Disarm the Descent," which debuted at #7 on the Billboard Top 200 and at #1 on the Hard Music Chart.
The tour will feature support from As I Lay Dying and Miss May I, with Affiance opening. Tickets go on sale on April 12 or April 13, depending on the market.
"Everyone in the Killswitch family is excited to get out on our first U.S. headlining tour in support of our new record," Leach said. "We are hitting some great cities and have a great mix of songs from every era of Killswitch as well as of course a handful of new ones."
Leach continued, "We look forward to sharing this tour with our old friends and brothers in metal As I Lay Dying. I personally have never had the chance to tour with them and I am looking forward to having such a quality band out with us to give this tour even more fire! We will also be joined by a talented and up-and-coming band Miss May I. Thanks to all the U.S. fans for your support! Our live show will be full-on energy with all of us ready to take this to a whole new level."
Bassist Mike D. concurred, saying, "We are super excited to be back out with our good buds in As I Lay Dying! They are some of our favorite dudes to hang with on the road, so assumptions are high that utter chaos shall ensue. Affiance Releases New Video Clip
Affiance has premiered a new music video online for "The Cynic," which can be viewed below, and the band's new album "The Campaign" is out now. Affiance also commented: "We can't thank our fans enough for being so supportive of us. We have tons of touring to come in January and to finish out this year. Modern Day Escape Announces Tour With Affiance
Standby Records artists Modern Day Escape is teaming up for a North American tour with Affiance and Deception of a Ghost. The first leg of the jaunt kicks off September 30th in Fullerton, CA and runs through October 20th in Pittsburgh PA. A complete list of confirmed dates can be found below. Modern Day Escape is touring in support of latest release "Under the Gun," which came out earlier this year on Standby Records.

Affiance singer Dennis Tvrdik previously commented on the song: "To be honest, we are pissed off. This song is a message to everyone who has slammed doors in our faces or tried to hold us back. Your taunts have only increased our pace. It's the beginning of the end. We feel this is the best song we have written and we're excited to finally share it with our fans, and hope it will cure any confusion about what type of band we are or what genre we belong in. It's far more metal and a more fine-tuned version of our best stuff from our first album, No Secret Revealed."
Affiance Streaming New Single
Cleveland's rising stars Affiance dropped their new single "You Will Be Replaced" today, and coinciding with the release is a worldwide premiere of the song at Alternative Press. Check out the song at this location. The new song was produced by Carson Slovak at Atrium Audio who has recently finished records for August Burns Red, Texas In July, and more.

Ohio based metalcore group Affiance has released a new Rock Band themed music video online for the song "The Hive," which is off the band's "No Secret Revealed" album available now through Bullet Tooth. Affiance Releases Video For "Call To The Warrior"
Cleveland metalcore band Affiance has released a new music video for the song "Call To The Warrior" in which the band members play the track on Rock Band and fail their own song. Singer Dennis Tvrdik commented saying, "How did I get a 98% singing to my own voice?!? That's kind of... inaccurate. Ha Ha" while guitarist Brett Wondrak said, "We had an absolute blast playing the song, but I think I will stick to playing my real instrument." The band promises to try harder next time and score at least a 90%. Guitarist Dominic Dickinson checked in to say, "We forgot we were only playing a game! Ha Ha. It felt so real and we kinda made a mess..."
Affiance will take part in the "Never Back Down Tour" with It Prevails, Life On Repeat, and We Are Defiance. Dates are below and will have the band playing throughout the Midwest, East Coast, and down South.
The band's debut album "No Secret Revealed" is out now on Bullet Tooth and the band is currently filming a music video for "Nostra Culpa" that will be launched soon.

Affiance Signs To Bullet Tooth
Cleveland, Ohio's Affiance has signed a record deal with Bullet Tooth for the release of a full-length album "No Secrets Revealed." Guitarist Brett Wondrak commented on the signing: "We are very excited and we believe, with the help of Bullet Tooth, we will be able to work harder, push further, and accomplish more than we ever have before."
Lyricist and vocalist Dennis Tvrdik also commented, "We are a band that strongly believes in the pursuit of truth and happiness. In order to achieve these ideals we must delve into concepts that we often don't want to think about. We hope that through our music we can inspire people to think for themselves and be pro-active in society."
