Korpblod Posts New Song "Vandringen"

Swedish act Korpblod has checked in with the following update about streaming a new song online:

"A new song entitled 'Vandringen' has been posted on myspace and this song will be featured on the next full-length which is entitled 'Vardens färd.'

"At the moment we are not tied to any label and have no idea as of now when or how to release 'Vardens Färd,' but whatever happens we hope that this now almost 1 year old material will surface before 2011 is over. More information will be made available in due time. Regards to everyone who supports us."

Korpblod Comments On "Norron Megi" Re-Release

Sweden's Korpblod has issued the following statement about the possibility of re-issuing the "Norron Megi" release:

"The interest in 'Norrön Megi' has far exceeded what little expectation we had and this has led to the fact that the 100 hand numbered copies that we first printed are all almost sold-out. To my knowledge there are still copies to be obtained from a handful of distros/labels that we have been in touch with.

"This might lead to the question 'Will there be a re-release?' The thought has been brewing in our minds and we have considered to re-release it, but since we are not the most wealthiest people the possibility for us to print yet another patch of cd's is not looking that well. More...

Korpblod Releases New Album

Black metal act Korpblod has issued the following announcement about self-releasing the new album "Norrön Megi:"

"Hails and greetings to all of you who are reading this blog. Today (2nd of August 2010) is the day when 'Norrön Megi' becomes available. This material was recorded back in Autumn-Winter of 2009, but due to some setbacks it hasn't been available until now. 'Norrön Megi' consists of 8 tracks (over an hours worth of music).

"'Norrön Megi' will be available through the band (unfortunately only by sending hidden money or if you're from Sweden you can transfer money to our bank account), but also through a couple of labels that we will announce later. People/bands/labels who are interested in purchasing (100 SEK; 10 €; 10 $ - postage is included) or trading 'Norrön Megi' can contact us through myspace or send us a mail to korp_blod@hotmail.com. Thanks for the support."

Korpblod To Self-Release New Album

Sweden's Korpblod has checked in with the following update about self-releasing a new album:

"After some thought and discussion with Wolfs Hook Records we have decided to release 'Norrön Megi' on our own. There is no bad blood between us and the label, in fact, 'Norrön Megi' will be made available to purchase through Wolfs Hook Records distro once the CD has been released.

"The self-release will be limited to 100 hand-numbered copies and will be released in August of 2010. If labels are interested in trades, then feel free to contact us. Also, there will be a website created alongside with the release of 'Norrön Megi' if things go as planned. Keep looking back for updates."
