After several months of scheming, plotting, and marauding off the grid, the Vise Massacre federation today declares a full-on scoundrel attack for 2013 with a revamped and venomous lineup.
Following the release of the bludgeoning "Expendable Humans" LP -- out early 2012 via the band’s own Gorilla The Horse Records -- and a rash of regional live assaults surrounding its release, Vise Massacre has revamped the lineup and this week publicly declare war for 2013.
Percussion combatant Keith Abrami, also of Long Island’s technical black/death/space metallers Artificial Brain, now joins the VM lineup, rounded out by bassist/vocalist Chris Vezza and founding guitarist/vocalist Rich Muller. This new incarnation’s first live excursion comes this Sunday, February 17th at Brooklyn watering hole Saint Vitus.

Earsplit PR has issued the following announcement about hosting the upcoming Precious Metal NYC show on June 18th with Windfaerer and more:
"That’s right tri-state riot-seekers, the fine folks who have run New York City’s venerable Precious Metal Monday night metal shows for the past six years finally bit off more than they can chew, and have offered Earsplit PR a full night to curate! The debauchery will take place Monday, June 18th, as always at Precious Metal’s steady home at the Lit Lounge on the Lower East Side, and as always, run by Curran Reynolds (Wetnurse, Today Is The Day). With four Earsplit-related audio terror units taking the stage that night, ears will be scathed from 9pm until midnight, with plenty of depravity to prevail far into the morning hours.
"Elizabeth, New Jersey-based trio Windfaerer — the brainchild of young Earsplit henchmen Michael Goncalves — will raise fists with their epic, violin-infused Iberian folk metal, while the metallic, Danzig worship of Connecticut’s Nightbitch (featuring members of Ipsissimus) will bring the ragers out in throngs. The dual-bassist dementia from NYC-based AmRep-gone-deathstomp quartet The Year Is One (fronted by known Guitar World photographer/writer Jimmy Hubbard) will get gnarly alongside our close comrades in Brooklyn’s most enraged speed metal/hardcore bastard brigade, Vise Massacre, celebrating their self-released Expendable Humans LP. Between the beatings, the congregation will be serenaded by the beats and charm (and badass hat) of DJ Mike SOS (SEIZURE CRYPT/S.O.S.). Anybody in the vicinity that night come on out, and kiss your Tuesday goodbye."

Initially planned for release in January, Brooklyn bastards Vise Massacre’s debut LP "Expendable Humans" has been delayed due to circumstances beyond the band’s control. The band issued the following press release:
"Something got jacked with the master and had to be corrected, but it’s not really interesting or important… we’re just here to spread the word that the LPs are being packed now, and set for arrival at the end of the month, which will allow Expendable Humans to finally trample mankind on March 6th. Direct links for digital and physical orders will be available in the days ahead.
"In the meantime Vise Massacre busy running up bar tabs, skulking on hipsters, and honing their live attack skills in preparation for some live actions to be confirmed in the coming weeks in support of the delayed release of Expendable Humans, which the band are releasing via their own Gorilla The Horse Records through the tight-knit hometown cooperative efforts with NYC’s Generation Records and Earsplit.
"The band also got trashed the other night and set up a raffle where 8 diehards can win T-shirts made by the band, limited versions of the LP and other random/unique/creepy handmade VISE MASSACRE creations. The more you fuck with the band via Facebook/Twitter between now and March 3rd the more chances thou hath of winning some gnarly swag. Check out the details at VM’s Facebook."
