Background
Invicta formed in the beginning of 2008 when guitarist/songwriter D-J and singer Schii combined their talents and influences. Melodies and harmonies reminiscent of Alice in Chains and Alter Bridge fuse with guitar riffs in the styles of Mudvayne and Between the Buried and Me. Breakdowns in the vein of August Burns Red and It Dies Today mesh with softer passages similar to Incubus and Switchfoot.
