Cough Posts New Song Online

Richmond, VA’s Cough has premiered the track "A Year In Suffering" from the band's Relapse debut "Ritual Abuse" online now courtesy of BrooklynVegan.com at this location. The MP3 comes with the announcement of Cough’s performance as part of the annual CMJ music fest held across New York City the week of October 19th. Cough will be appearing as part of the official BV-BBG Showcase Saturday, October 23rd at Union Pool with new label-mates Royal Thunder along with The Body, Inter Arma, and more. The new album "Ritual Abuse" will see an October 26th North American release date. The band's upcoming tour dates are as follows:

Cough Streaming New Song Online

Richmond, VA’s Cough has debuted a new track titled "Crippled Wizard" online now via The Obelisk. “Crippled Wizard” comes from the band’s forthcoming full-length and Relapse debut "Ritual Abuse." The new album will see an October 26th North American release date and is available for pre-order now on CD and gatefold LP. Cough has also previously posted the track “Crooked Spine” from the new album on the band’s MySpace page.

Cough Streaming New Song Online

Cough has debuted the first preview track "Crooked Spine" off the band's Relapse debut "Ritual Abuse" online now via the Cough MySpace page. "Ritual Abuse," the follow-up album to "Sigillum Luciferri," was recorded by Sanford Parker at Volume Studios in Chicago, IL and is set for an October 26th North American release date.

Cough recently commented on the new album: "Ritual Abuse is the result of all the shit and suffering we put ourselves through to continue to write this music. Hopefully you all feel as miserable listening to it as we did creating it."

Cough Signs To Relapse

Cough formed in 2005 and has independently released an EP, "The Kingdom," as well as a full-length album "Sigillum Luciferi" via Forcefield Records. The band recently wrote follow-up to "Sigillum Luciferi" and has been working on the album with producer Sanford Parker. The new album, titled "Ritual Abuse," is expected to see a fall 2010 release date via Relapse Records.

Cough commented on the new album, "Ritual Abuse is the result of all the shit and suffering we put ourselves through to continue to write this music. Hopefully you all feel as miserable listening to it as we did creating it."
