The U.S. progressive metal pioneers in Fates Warning are gearing up to head out on their North American headline tour, kicking off tomorrow in Joliet, IL.
The tour will hit 23 North American cities, and will come to a close in Seattle, WA on December 14th. Support will be split between two halves of the tour, and will come from Halcyon Way and Artizan. See below for a full listing of tour dates.

Halcyon Way and Artizan announced through Intromental management that both bands will provide direct support to Fates Warning on the upcoming North American Tour. Fates Warning is releasing its new album "Darkness In a Different Light" on September 30th (EU) and October 1st (North America) via InsideOutMusic. Halcyon Way has an upcoming release "Conquer," the release date of which has not been revealed as of yet. Artizan just released its latest album "Ancestral Energy" back in May via Pure Steel Records.

Jacksonville Florida's melodic metal quartet Artizan will release sophomore effort "Ancestral Energy" this coming May 10th via Pure Steel Records.

It's a new month and time for some new metal! Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida comes melodic metal act Artizan, which is gearing up to release a sophomore album next week.
The "Ancestral Energy" album will feature a guest appearance by none other than Matt Barlow on the title track, and is due out through Pure Steel Records on May 10th, 2013.

Florida's Artizan, featuring Ex-Leviathan vocalist Tom Braden, will issue its sophomore release "Ancestral Energy" through Pure Steel Records on May 10, 2013. The album was mixed and mastered by Jim Morris at Morrisound Studios in Tampa. The album features a guest vocal appears from Matt Barlow (Ashes Of Ares/ex-Iced Earth). Artizan has posted a new song titled "The Death of Me" online, which can be heard below. Special artwork exclusively created for the song by artist Marc Sasso is featured throughout the video. The new Artizan album "Ancestral Energy" will be available this coming April 2013 via Pure Steel Records.
U.S. melodic metal act Artizan is currently in the process of recording a new album and follow-up to the 2011's "Curse of the Artizan." The band recently announced that none other than Matt Barlow (ex-Iced Earth) has arrived at the studio to appear as a guest musician on the album.

Creation's End is preparing to kick off the next leg of the band's live appearances next week, this time in the form of the first "Uniting The Powers Of Metal" tour. The tour features Artizan, Seven Kingdoms, and Widow as well as Creation's End for a co-headlining six-date East Coast tour, where all four acts will trade headlining spots show-to-show.
The festivities officially kick off this Tuesday, August 16 at Manhattan's Sullivan Hall, with shows in North Carolina, Georgia and Florida to follow, including a special one-off headlining appearance by Adrenaline Mob -- featuring Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater) and Russell Allen (Symphony X) -- this Sunday at Jaxx in Springfield, Virginia.

Creation's End features guitarists Rudy Albert (ex-Zandelle) and Marco Sfogli (James LaBrie Band), drummer Dario Rodriguez, vocalist Mike DiMeo (ex-Masterplan, ex-Riot) and bassist Joe Black (Chris Caffery, ex-Zandelle). The band is currently constructing a new album now, which will be released sometime in 2012.
