Destroying Divinity To Record New Album

Czech Republic act Destroying Divinity has checked in with the following update about gearing up to record a new album:

"Unholy hails to all the death metal maniacs worldwide, it's been a while.. We got some news, bad ones and good ones. Let's start with the bad ones; first and foremost, we were forced to terminate our contract with Brutal Bands as they seem to have absolutely no interest in further working with us, we haven't heard from the label since the release of our latest album Dark Future.

"They haven't replied to any of our e-mails past two years, we don't know of any promotion done by the label and they also failed in the manufacturing of the merchandise, which also was their responsibility according to the deal. The album was doing well amongst both fans and reviewers even without any support from the label, which is pleasing us and pissing us off at the same time, so it's obvious that we as a band do not want to work with Brutal Bands any more as it looks completely worthless. Thus we will release our next full-length under some other label and we are also considering releasing of the vinyl version of Dark Future album under someone else, so if someone is interested, offers are welcome. Destroying Divinity Issues Video Update

Destroying Divinity started shooting a new music video earlier this month. The band has now checked in with the following update about the video clip and the band's current activity:

"Destroying Divinity is currently working on post-production of the first official vision of horror. The video is made for the song At War with Two Worlds. More news to come, we are considering leaving roster of Brutal Bands records because this label seems dead and rotted to us. The music shall be, the label not!

"Another news is that it seems we are gonna have new lava spouter because our great former singer Erik is off due to serious medical reasons. Get well soon, old mate! And of course we are composing new material, darkness will return in 2012!!

"We are still receiving more reviews from around the globe and most of them are positive beyond any expectations, we appreciate that! Here is short list for your amusement. Please notice, this is not full list of reviews and diabolical talks, full list will be unleashed on our official facebook profile, which came to life recently. More...

Destroying Divinity Signs To Brutal Bands

Czech Republic death metal band Destroying Divinity has recently signed a multiple album contract with Brutal Bands. After releasing both “Created” and “Hell Unleashed” through Grodhaisn Records, the band will release their third album “Dark Future” through Brutal Bands on June 25th.

Destroying Divinity drummer Ommurtag had this to say: “We are very pleased that our CD is going to be released by Brutal Bands. It is great to be among all those brutal bands even though our style is little different in comparison to the rest in their roster. I hope that we will become a part of Brutal Bands family. Darkness is coming...."

Brutal Bands founder Scott Ellingboe adds: "I was first introduced to Destroying Divinity from a fan recommendation. After just a couple minutes of listening to their material I contacted this band. I’ve wanted to sign a death metal band with a darker sound for a long time now. Bands like this are a rare breed these days, so it’s an honor to have them in our roster now."

You can also check out sample Destroying Divinity tracks through the band's official MySpace page.
