Two More Bands Confirmed For 70000 Tons 2024

The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise have continued their early streak of names by announcing two more names for next year's edition of the festival. Hopping aboard the ship will be Swedish melodic death metal outfit The Halo Effect, comrprised of former In Flames members, and Norwegian death metal veterans Blood Red Throne, who will be premiering their brand new album at the event.

70000 Tons Of Metal 2024 will take place on the Freedom Of The Seas ship and will last from January 29th to February 2nd, travelling from Miami, Florida to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Nile Confirmed For 70000 Tons Of Metal 2024

South Carolina death metal veterans Nile are the latest act to be confirmed for the 2024 edition of 70000 Tons Of Metal, the original heavy metal cruise. The event will take place between January 29th and February 2nd and will sail from Miami, Florida, heading to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Nervosa, Crypta & More Confirmed For 70000 Tons

The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise, the original heavy metal sea escape, have continued announcing bands early for the 2024 edition of the festival. Joining the five bands already confirmed are Italian comedy power metallers Nanowar Of Steel, central European power metal outfit Warkings, Swedish Viking metal band Thyrfing, Germany's Eurovision entrants Lord Of The Lost, female thrash warriors Nervosa, Brazilian death metal squadron Crypta, who themselves feature two former Nervosa members and Belgian deathgrind favourites Aborted, who will be premiering their brand new album on board.

The voyage will depart from Miami on January 29th and will head to the Dominican Republic town of Puerto Plata.

European technical brutal death metal institution Monument Of Misanthropy have teamed up with Metalundergound.com to premiere a new AI-assisted official music video for Monument Of Misanthropy's track "Exceptionally Sadistic" taken from the band's latest album "Unterweger". The conceptual album is chronicling the story of Austrian serial killer Jack Unterweger who committed murder in several countries – Austria, Germany, Czech Reupulic and the United States.
