Metalunderground.com is premiering the new music video of "Eternity Below" from Vancouver, BC alternative metal band Quartered. "Eternity Below" is the second track from Quartered’s 2010 release "Walks Like A Ghost," released via Thorny Bleeder Records. This video was directed and produced by Charles Schrodt of Full.Speed.Ahead Productions.
The band comments on the video: "The idea we had for the video was to try and do something special for the fans that support all things Quartered. Instead of the band promoting a show somewhere, we decided to just throw one for them. We found a space, set up some lights, got a keg (of course), and captured as much as we could. Our fans really threw it down for us, again and again."
"Eternity Below" will soon available for download along with three other tracks on the Rock

This definitely goes down as being one of the most interesting and unique heavy shows that Vancouver has seen in quite a long time. The venue for this event was not your typical metal venue. It was barely a venue at all. The Shark Club, as its known, turns out to be a trendy upscale version of a sports bar. Complete with soft plush booths for dining, cute but high maintenance waitresses running around in every possible direction, a DJ that seems to only own European techno records and last but not least a bathroom complete with interactive video screens plugging products while you wait. A metal show was taking place here? Really? Everything seemed a bit odd and out of place, the setting just didn't seem right for a heavy label’s showcase. Especially compared to the usual dingy clubs that metal shows take place within this city. But this is where Thorny Bleeder Records chose to hold their talent showcase so there is nothing that can be done, or said. More...

Quartered have been officially confirmed for the Pulp Summer Slam Festival 10, the largest metal festival in the Philippines, on April 17th.
The festival is being headlined by Lamb Of God and Testament. Quartered, their good friends Slapshock, and thirty other bands fill out the rest of the day's lineup.
Testament front man Chuck Billy commented on the bands upcoming trip to the Philippines, “We have played countless venues all over the world, but this is the first time ever that Testament will be playing in the Philippines. It is an honor for us to be bringing metal to a country that does not normally have many metal shows and we are stoked to be co-headlining alongside our friends in Lamb of God. People of the Philippines get ready to get Into the Pit with Testament.”
Quartered just finished recording their Thorny Bleeder Records debut album with producer Ben Kaplan, at Mushroom Studios in Vancouver. The yet-to-be titled album will be released in late Spring or early Summer.
While you wait for the new album, you can download the band's two previous albums for free on the label's free downloads page.
