Mistheria Issues Studio Updates

Keyboardist Mistheria has issued further studio updates on his latest album “Dragons Fire.”

To follow on from the news that drummer John Macaluso (Ark, Union Radio) has completed all his drum parts we can now report that John West (ex Royal Hunt, Artension) is recording his vocals and has checked in with the following on Mistheria’s website, "After meeting Mistheria and playing live together in Croatia with Emir Hot, I knew someday we would make music together. He asked me to write and sing on his new solo album, and I was very excited. Now, we are in the midst of the recordings and I must say this is some of the absolute best music I have ever made to date!"

Vocalist Lance King (Balance Of Power) has finished tracking vocals for the track “Two Of Us” and commented, “The song is both melodic and powerful, full of harmonisations, definitely a killer song!." More...

Mistheria To Release New Album "Dragon Fire"

Six years on from his last studio album "Messenger Of The Gods" Italian solo artist and keyboardist Mistheria is hard at work with the recording of his new 11 track neo-classical / progressive metal album entitled "Dragon Fire." The new album is set for release in the second half of 2010.

Mistheria has pulled in a number of guest vocalists for "Dragon's Fire," including vocalists John West (Artension/ex Royal Hunt), Mark Boals (ex Malmsteen), Rob Rock (Impellitteri), Lance King, and Titta Tani (Astra). Guitars come courtesy of George Bellas (Ring Of Fire, Mogg/Way), Roger Staffelbach (Artension/Angel Of Eden), Neil Zaza, and Emir Hot. The rhythm section consists of drummer John Macaluso (ARK) and bassist Dino Fiorenza.

Some working track titles for the album include "Fire & Flames," "Killing The Pain," "The Power Of One," and "Chopin Fantasy." Last week George Bellas recorded all his guitars and John Macaluso is currently in the process of tracking his drums and has just checked in with the following statement: "I just did half the tracks for Mistheria's album and it came out amazing! Over the top with heavy groove and orchestrated kicks everywhere. I've got a really fat drum sound, its like Bonham playing double bass in an orchestra. You will dig it I think!"
