Italian gothic metal band THEATRES DES VAMPIRES will release its new album, "Anima Noir", on May 2 via Aural Music/SPV. The CD was recorded at the Temple of Noise studio in Rome with engineer Christian Ice. According to a press release, "Anima Noir" features "romantic lyrics, lyrical voices, strong orchestration, powerfull guitars and powerful drumming. All the elements that you loved in THEATRES DES VAMPIRES are back in this new production. A new modern sound and a super modern production that took six months of work in the studio for recording and mixing it, offering you the best experience of vampirism as always, with the enchanting vocals of the mistress of your nightmare: Countess Sonya Scarlet, this time with her best performance ever."
Theatres des Vampires will be back in the studio soon to produce the new album, which is scheduled to be released in late 2005 from Plastic Head Records. This new album will be 100% vampiric and will be the most "evil" and "horror" in the band’s history.
The band and the label are considering the option to make a double CD case, consisting of the new album and a DVD, featuring all the band’s music videos as well as some other rare and incredible material never seen before.
Theatres des Vampires are currently searching for a new male singer. Sonya Scarlet is following the selection of demo material of singers. Get in touch with her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
After 10 years of history Theatres des Vampires have split from the singer Alexander. After 3 months of discussions and a formal stop of activities, Theatres des Vampires was forced to stop the collaboration with the singer Alexander. The singer during the last year suffered for a badly and destructive form of jealousy against some members of the band - Scarlet (the well known singer) and Fabian (the keyboard player and main compositor). This caused major problems and a virtually impossible continuing of activities of the band in this kind of situation.
The band fronts 2 options: disband or fire out the one who has been the problem in the last months. And the decision is taken.
Theatres des Vampires, according with the official Management Tim Fraser and the label Plastic Head, decided to stop the collaboration with the singer Alexander and are now searching for a new singer to replace him.
For the moment, all activities of the band are frozen while searching for the new singer. For news and extra information, you can get in touch at email@example.com
The Italian Black/Symphonic Gothic fiends THEATRES DES VAMPIRES announce an European release for their new album, 'Nightbreed Of Macabria', in May through PlasticHead/Blackend.
The band have described their upcoming album in an online post: “The new CD by Theatres des Vampires is the most horchestral ever produced by the band. For this reason Theatres des Vampires used several musicians and vocalists to create the macabre and grottesque atmosphere, near the Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas" feeling. The new album will be a complete musical change of the band, that leaves definitively the black metal atmosphere and produces a Symphonic Gothic Horror album. The album will feature also a bonus track, the remixed version of ‘La Danse Macabre du Vampire’, already released in the 2002 Suicide Vampire album and today remixed in a brand new way.”
