Upon A Burning Body has posted the new single "Sin City" online, which can be heard in the player below. "Sin City" is taken off of the band's upcoming album "Red. White. Green," which hits stores on 04.10.12 through Sumerian Records.
San Antonio’s very own Upon A Burning Body will finally be heading to the U.K. this summer to incite carnage at both Slam Dunk Festival and the might Download Festival at Donington Park. The band's publicist issued the following press release:

Canadian metal/hardcore band Obey The Brave will make its U.S. debut at the 14th Annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival on Friday, April 20th.
The new band features former members of Century Media recording artists Despised Icon and Mediaskare's Blind Witness.
"Some of my favorite touring memories took place at the Palladium," said vocalist Alex Erian. "So stoked to be back and can't wait to play Obey The Braves' first US show ever at the NEMHF. Shit's about to get real, fellas."
Obey The Brave is managed by Good Fight Entertainment and is now working on its debut album for a label to be announced.

Come this November, Winds of Plague will be hitting the road with Chelsea Grin, As Blood Runs Black, For the Fallen Dreams, Upon a Burning Body, In the Midst of Lions, Like Moths to Flames, and Volumes for the "Thrash & Burn" 2011 tour.

Danny Leal, frontman for American deathcore outfit Upon A Burning Body, has posted the following update online.
"I’d like to be the first to let you know that we are heading into the studio to record our second record in September. We are so excited and we hope you are too! We will be playing a few shows in select cities on the way up to the studio, so keep a lookout [for those announcement.]
"We may be playing a song or two from the new record, so you don’t wanna miss being the first to hear these songs and be able to tell us first hand and in person what you think of them. We are taking a new approach to our songs and we know you will love it, so check online for new dates and make plans to come join us for a wild night. See you all soon!"
The San Antonio, TX based quintet Upon A Burning Body recently completed a run on The Smartpunk Tour alongside The Word Alive, Abandon All Ships, The Color Morale and For All Those Sleeping. The band has now kicked off a headlining tour that will also serve as the last North American run for "The World Is Ours" touring cycle. As Third String Productions enters a 7th year of promoting festivals in North Texas, the organization has teamed up with Sumerian Records to present the 2011 South By So What?! music festival. South By So What?! began in 2007 as a multi-stage music festival showcasing the majority of the all-ages bands that would be making the trek to SXSW. This year's festival will be held at The Palladium Ballroom in Dallas, TX on Saturday, March 19th and headlined by Sumerian artist Asking Alexandria.

Chicago deathcore act Oceano has announced it will be embarked on the upcoming "Contaminating the Coast" tour. The tour, which is sponsored by AMP magazine, will run throughout January and includes support from For the Fallen Dreams, Upon a Burning Body, The Great Commission, and I The Breather. The full list of dates and venues for the tour will be announced shortly.
You can view the "Contaminating The Coast" tour flyer at this location. Oceano's new album "Contagion" landed the Chicago band at number 163 on the Billboard Current Artist Chart in its first week of release. The band also debuted on the Billboard Heatseekers chart at number 3.
Alabama metal band MYCHILDREN MYBRIDE has released a brand new track, "Terra Firma," off of their upcoming Solid State Records release, "Lost Boy." The record hits stores June 8th, 2010, and the new track can be found at the band’s MySpace page. The British death metal band Annotations Of An Autopsy has pulled out of the U.S. tour which featured Carnifex, Suffokate, and Upon a Burning Body. The tour had just started this week, but Annotations of An Autopsy will not be continuing among the other death metal bands for the duration of this tour. Carnifex has announces a headlining tour of North America, due to kick off at the beginning of April. Joining them on the tour will be British band Annotations Of An Autopsy, Suffokate, Your Demise and Upon A Burning Body.
Speaking about the tour, Annotations Of An Autopsy guitarist Jamie Sweeney commented: "As some of you may be aware, we missed the chance to tour the states at the end of 2009 with Dying Fetus and The Faceless because of visa difficulties. We promised you we would be back over as soon as we could and we've kept that promise. You'll find us touring the states with Carnifex at the beginning of April, we're really looking forward to this tour and to seeing you all at the shows!
