Asbel Announces New Lineup

Colombian metal act Asbel has recruited new live session musicians to round out the band's lineup for 2011. The currently announced complete lineup is as follows:

Asbel - All Voices, Guitars
Astarte Baalit - Lead Guitars
Draugnazgul - Drums, Backing Vocals
Unholy - Bass

Asbel has also announced an upcoming split release with Cantus Soturnus, with details available here. Asbel's music can also be heard at this location.

Asbel Announces New Split Release

Colombian metal act Asbel has issued the following announcement about participating in an upcoming split release:

"New split album 2011 --- Asbel (colombia) - Cantus Soturnus (brazil). No release date yet notified Asbel will participate with 3 songs never before published in any album. 2 songs 'To earth our flesh to hell our soul,' 'Occult' recorded in the year 2007 and thought to be released in the Elegist 2007 album, 1 song 'Lucifer 2009' recorded in the mid 2009 and thought to be released in re-edition of the Legions 2004 album, but never released.

"All music and lyrics by Asbel and only Asbel. Recorded in Unholy Studios Cover by Hypothrrmia from Coldnight and Artwork by Asbel. More info published soon."

Asbel Comments On Upcoming Album

Columbian black metal act Asbel released the album "The Dark, The Withered" via Salute Records on March 26th, 2010. Asbel has now checked in with the following update about working on a new album, which will feature several guest female vocalists:

"According to the great acceptance for the latest album 'The Dark, The Withered 2010' With female vocalists from Canada, Uruguay, Colombia and Turkey. Asbel decides to release The Dark The Withered Volume II, This time with the participation of female vocalists from Chile, USA, Colombia, Uruguay, Canada, Mexico, Argentina and Hungary. Asbel Announces New Album Release Date

Columbian black metal act Asbel is set to release a new album titled "The Dark, The Withered" via Salute Records on March 26th, 2010. The album was recorded at Unholy Studios between 2009 - 2010. A teaser trailer for the album can be viewed below. Sample Asbel tracks are also currently available for streaming via the band's MySpace page.
