Apostle Of Solitude Releases "This Mania" Video

Indianapolis doom metal act Apostle of Solitude, featuring ex-The Gates of Slumber drummer Chuck Brown (here on vocals and guitar), posted a music video for the new track "This Mania." The song appears on the upcoming new release "Of Woe and Wounds," the third full length studio release due out on November 4th in North America via Cruz Del Sur Music (October 31st in Europe).

Apostle Of Solitude Signs With Cruz Del Sur

Cruz Del Sur Music has announced the inking of a deal with US doomsters Apostle Of Solitude for the release of their new album "Of Woe and Wounds." The album was recorded by Mike Bridavsky at Russian Recording in Bloomington, Indiana in May 2014 and is the first album featuring new members Steve Janiak and Dan Davidson. Cover artwork for the album is currently being done by David Csicsely.

"Of Woe and Wounds" will be Apostle Of Solitude's third full-length studio album, preceded by 2008's "Sincerest Misery" and "The Last Sunrise" (2010). The records will be released on compact disc, vinyl and digital formats in October 2014 on Cruz del Sur Music. Apostle Of Solitude will be performing new songs from "Of Woe and Wounds" at the Days of the Doomed Fest IV, in Cudahy, Wisc., June 20 and 21. For details visit the festival's site.

Apostle Of Solitude Streaming Demo

Indianapolis doom metal band Apostle Of Solitude is finally back with its 2012 demo, which is over on Bandcamp. Stream all three songs on that page or below. Apostle of Solitude released its debut album "Sincerest Misery" on Eyes Like Snow records in 2008, and the 2010 follow-up "Last Sunrise" on both Profound Lore (N. America) & Eyes Like Snow (Europe). Live performances at high profile American doom festivals including Born To Be Doomed, Born Too Late, Days of the Doomed, and Doom or Be Doomed have brought the band into the public eye.

While Heaven Wept To Play Days Of The Doomed Fest

The Days of the Doomed fest is set to take place on Kenosha, WI on June 22nd and 23rd, 2012. While Heaven Wept has now issued the following announcement about appearing at the festival:

"We're extremely happy to announce that we will be appearing at the Days Of The Doomed 2 festival in June 2012! We'd actually been in discussions with Mike even prior to the first edition, so this has been a long time coming indeed! While there was a time when we faced some challenges in making this happen, ultimately the planets have aligned! Retro Grave Confirmed For Days Of The Doomed

RETRO GRAVE, featuring original and former TROUBLE drummer Jeff "Oly" Olson, has been confirmed for the Days Of The Doomed Fest, set to take place June 17-18, 2011 at The P.L.A.V. in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Commented Olson: "I'm very excited to play for our friends in the mid west for the Days Of The Doom Fest. It's going to be great to perform on stage again. I've missed that! In addition, because I live in southern Maine, I have not yet had the chance to see my longtime TROUBLE friends, Eric Wagner and Ron Holzner perform with their new bands, BLACKFINGER and EARTHEN GRAVE. I'm looking forward to see them again as well as the latest up and coming bands in the doom scene. Apostle of Solitude Completes Work On New Album

Indianapolis doom metal band APOSTLE OF SOLITUDE has completed work on their follow-up to “Sincerest Misery,” entitled “Last Sunrise.”

Formed by ex-GATES OF SLUMBER drummer Chuck Brown, who handles the vocal and guitar duties in Apostle Of Solitude, Apostle Of Solitude shall follow suit alongside their doom metal comrades in The Gates Of Slumber in hopes to spread awareness of the band even further within their homeland with “Last Sunrise.”

With the North American version of “Last Sunrise” featuring three killer bonus cover-tunes (recorded by Gates Of Slumber drummer Bob Fouts) that will differ from the European version, the tracklisting for “Last Sunrise” goes as follows:
