Empress To Join Bring Me The Horizon On Tour
It’s been a busy few months for Empress - not only has the band recently finished recording an as-yet-unnamed album, the group has also just finished touring with Cancer Bats.
Now Empress is delighted to announce joining Crossfaith on Bring Me The Horizon’s U.K. tour starting in Manchester on the 29th of April. Empress has also been confirmed to play Download Festival, Hit The Deck, and Redfest with more festival announcements expected in the coming weeks too.
The first offering from the band’s forthcoming album will be unveiled in the coming weeks… stay tuned!

Crossfaith Releasing "Zion" EP
Japan's Crossfaith is releasing a new six track EP titled "Zion," which is now available in digital format through iTunes.
"Zion" was recorded with the legendary "Machine" (Lamb of God/Everytime I Die/Four Year Strong) in New York, and a music video for the track "Monolith" can be found below. The track listing is:

Japan's Kabuto Metal Festival Cancelled
The Haunted reports that the Kabuto Metal Festival that was to take place in Japan in May has been cancelled by the organizers due to the situation resulting from the earthquake and tsunami in early March. Bands who were to participate in the fest included:
White Side: Story of the Year, Thursday, Underoath, envy, Architects, Meaning, and Crossfaith
Dark Side: Morbid Angel, The Haunted, Ihsahn, Origin, Rotten Sound, and Leprous
"We hope to come back to Japan later this year," states The Haunted. The band still plans to play their Australian dates as well as their appearance in Bangkok, however.
Machine Head Announces Australian Tour Dates
Machine Head has announced that they will be extending their Black Procession tour, with a tour of Australia and Japan. They will be joined on the trek by Hatebreed and Bleeding Through and will also be joined by Emmure in Australia and Crossfaith in Japan.
The tour dates are as follows:
