BerserkerfoX Announces Lineup Change

Australian melodic death metallers BerserkerfoX are very excited to announce Anthony Von Grim has joined the band as lead vocalist. The band commented:

"Tony's range, roars and and brutal screams demonstrated on his work with BloodWitch, Birdmouth and Fattura Della Morte made him the ideal replacement for former vocalist, Daniel Mozumder - BerserkerfoX parted ways with Daniel in September 2011 due to other life priorities.

"In equally exciting news, Oscar Schiesser, with his chops, work ethic and stage presence, replaces Anannd Thambirajah, who left in May 2011 to pursue other interests overseas. But what a year it has been thus far! 2011 saw the band touring with acts such as Frankenbok, Scar The Surface, Elysian, and Orpheus in support of BerserkerfoX's debut album 'History.Altar.Ashes.'

"Rather than a setback, this lineup change is a natural progression and the band is confident of belting out some fresh, new music in the coming months. In fact, the band is already hard at work writing their sophomore album! Here is a teaser track titled 'The Monopoly' featuring the new lineup. Check it out below. Stay tuned for tour announcements, news and studio diaries." More...

BerserkerfoX Bassist Massimo Bonazelli Departs

Ashish of BerserkerfoX has issued a band update, including discussing the departure of bassist Massimo Bonazelli and his replacement:

"Just a short post to update you on things if you've been wondering what BerserkerfoX have been up to. We've had a bit of a lineup change over the first half of this year - bassist Massimo Bonazelli returned to Italy to address national squat related injuries, and Anannd Thambirajah's departure to complete a masters degree in corruption in Malaysia.

"In their places we have Kalani Brea on bass, who's already been out on the road with us for a number of gigs in NSW and VIC, and the newest addition on the strings, Oscar Schiesser. While getting the new crew up to speed on old tunes, we are also busy writing a heap of new songs. Not sure what they sound like right now, but an EP should be on the way to give you a taste of it...

"Since Oscar is now in Europe to camp out in Hellfest, Wacken and a whole heap of other festivals (by the way we all hope the lucky bastard gets herpes or europhillis while he is there) we are busy jamming out the new tunes and working on more material for when we return to the stage in August.

"Till then, Like! our Facebook page to stay informed of Muzzi's eating disorders. Take it easy and look after yourselves!"
