After posting a tour flyer online containing sexual content (see it below), India's melodic death metal outfit Inner Sanctum was briefly banned from posting on Facebook (a situation we at Metalunderground understand, as any album cover we post that contains nipples or ass cracks gets deleted). Inner Sanctum had this to say:
"Yesterday (10th Oct 2014) Inner Sanctum was banned from Facebook for posting content that was deemed offensive. Someone had flagged our poster because they found the nature of the post to be too graphic.
"There are various ways you could look at this….weigh out the different opinions, figure out what crosses certain lines, artistic liberties, and the relevance of shock value as a marketing gimmick, but none of these address the actual issue at hand…which is…people are in denial when it comes to SEX. SEX SEX SEX, the more you say it the more it offends people.
"Living in India this issue is magnified to a larger degree since most of us are equivalent to Jesus, because we were all born of immaculate conception right…because Indians don’t have sex. I am not a product of my dad’s semen or my mother’s incubating womb, some stork from the sky just dropped me off! It was co incidence and conditioning that made me end up with their features, and biological genes and mannerisms…no sex involved here perverts. More...

The band has now posted several short studio clips online, which can be seen at Facebook here. Inner Sanctum also comments:
"We've been busy, shite's starting to fall into place. We've actually just finished the lead vocals... off to gang vox and other stuff tomorrow.
"I've been wanting to upload this wee clip of the drum recordings for a while, but since the internet has not exactly been our friend in the studio it took a few days longer than expected... Anyways, here's a clip of Abhinav Yogesh playing drums, filmed through the control room window."

India's Inner Sanctum has released footage of a wall of death at a festival appearance, which can be seen below, and the band also comments:
"None of us really expected MAD fest Ooty to be so much fun. Here's a little video of the small wall of death. It was quite fun to see people, who had probably never been in a pit join in and let themselves go. It's always fun as a band, to know that you're capable of getting people to get out of their comfort zones and just have a blast."

India's Inner Sanctum has issued the following announcement about parting ways with guitarist Rajeev Ramesh:
"As most of you may already know Rajeev Ramesh will be leaving India to pursue his higher studies in Germany. Rajeev was with Inner Sanctum since 2007 and in a way shaped what Sanctum is today. Sanctum has had its strongest lineup till date and his leaving is a great loss to the band. Rajeev’s signature style and fresh outlook on live shows will surely be missed. We wish Rajeev all the success for the future with loads of beer and German groupies."
Rajeev had this to say to Inner Sanctum fans: “Inevitably, there comes a point in life where one has to say Goodbye. At this point in time, I need to focus on my career and in this direction, I would be travelling to pursue my studies at Germany. I’ve had some of the best times performing for almost 3 years with Sanctum. We’ve made some mind blowing music, done of whole lot of crazy gigging, traveled a bunch of cities and made a bunch of friends along the way.
"These are memories that I will always cherish. Over the years, Bas, Bobbins, Chintan and Mikel have become some of my closest friends and together, we really learnt what it means to work as a team. I’m sure Inner Sanctum will continue to tear down every stage they set foot on and I wish the new lineup all the best !! I look forward to meeting up with the guys and jamming up with em’ somewhere down the line.”
