U.K. band Tides of Virtue has issued the following announcement about deciding to call it a day:
"I realize this wasn't the announcement people were expecting to hear tonight and it saddens us to have to say this but Tides Of Virtue has come to an end.
"As our personal lives and jobs have become busier it hasn't been possible to keep the flame beneath Tides alight and as you may or may not know we have lost several members along the way.
"We want to thank everyone who has been a member of Tides of Virtue from the start and to the promoters and friends that have booked us shows and put a roof over our heads and most importantly thank you to all of the fans that supported us, whether it was coming to see us at a show, buying a T-shirt/hoodie or our album or even just checking us out online. I wouldn't swap any of our experiences on the road for anything (including the insane 24 hour drive to Barcelona to play with Texas In July). More...

U.K. band Tides of Virtue has issued the following announcement about recruiting a new vocalist and bassist:
"We are extremely stoked to announce that the search for a new vocalist and bassist is now over! We have so pleased to say we have a brand new vocalist, Nick Jupp and a brand new bassist, James Sweeting!
"We are very much looking forward to the future with Nick and James as a part of Tides, and we cannot wait to continue working on new material, to get back in the studio and get back on stage! We feel that this is going to be a new beginning for Tides, and hope that you are as stoked as we are. Our first show back with Nick on vocals and James on bass will be at the Beacon Court in Gillingham, Kent on the 16th of September, so it would be awesome if you could all make it down there and show your support!
"Although we have sent out personal emails as well, we would like to say a massive thank you once again to everyone who took an interest in Tides and took the time to apply, it is very much appreciated and we hope to see you at a show soon. We are currently finalizing more shows, and awaiting the arrival of our 'Ferryman' shirts so keep an eye on the page for more updates very soon! U.K. based act Tides of Virtue has issued the following announcement about parting ways with the band's vocalist and bassist:
"Hey guys, we are sad to announce that due to university in September and musical differences that Oliver and Louis have decided to part ways with Tides. We are obviously very shocked but we do understand their reasons. We all wish them the very best for the future and we still remain the best of friends with them.
"Which moves us on, we are NOT splitting up, we are looking for a new members and are not giving up. We are looking to take auditions asap so that we don't have to cancel to many shows. We will be updating you all with what shows we are and are not playing very shortly. We are looking for a new vocalist and bassist and are looking hold auditions as soon as possible."

U.K. act Tides of Virtue has checked in with the following update about parting ways with their drummer:
"We are looking for a new drummer as we have parted ways with Elliot due to a lack of commitment and personal issues. We will be holding open auditions as soon as possible for the position within the band. Anyone who is interested must at first be able to play the songs 'Emperors' & our new song 'The Ferryman.' We will at first require videos of you playing along to the above tracks, either by sending us mpeg files to our email or links to a YouTube video.
"We are looking to try people out asap as we do not want to be canceling to many shows. We will be playing all our tour dates across the summer and will NOT be pulling out of these. We are looking for Sludgefest on June 20th to be our first show back or we will be getting a fill in drummer for this show onwards until the a new drummer is announced. If you are interested, then before filming or contacting us please read below as these are the main essential criteria that we need from you to join Tides. If you need the mp3 files of Emperors and The Ferryman then please message us and we will be happy to get the tracks sent across to you."

UK metal band Tides of Virtue has announced their signing to Transcend Records. The band will release their new album, "Malevolence," in May 2010.
