Skew Siskin To Release 'Peace Breaker' In May

German female-fronted rockers SKEW SISKIN will release their new album, "Peace Breaker", on May 21.

Commented SKEW SISKIN singer Nina C. Alice: "We are currently recording the last bits and pieces for this thirteen-track CD. At this very moment, I'm doing vocals for a song called 'We're An Institution (War Fighter)' and tomorrow I'll nail my voice onto a piece called 'Trouble Shooter'. The other eleven titles to be announced soon.

"We've started recording a great song from Ivan Kral, with lyrics written by his wife Cindy Hudson (who's a great light designer, too), adding a 'THE STOOGES' feel! I can't wait to sing it. Ivan was a band member of singer Patti Smith, guitarist for the one and only Iggy Pop, and he's also a truly blessed songwriter! More...

Skew Siskin Announce One-Off Date In Belgium

German female-fronted rockers SKEW SISKIN have announced a show at Spirit of 66 in Verviers, Belgium on November 29.

SKEW SISKIN is currently recording a new CD at its Berlin studio for a tentative early 2007 release. "As it looks, we're recording around 16 songs, but only 10 to 12 will make it on the CD," the band previously stated. "Not that we are too lazy no, we have tons of spectacular guitar riffs and song ideas lying around. But sometimes less is more, and we want to present the best of the best on this upcoming album."

SKEW SISKIN, whose current lineup included PRIMAL FEAR drummer Randy Black, last year announced that they were canceling all their shows so that frontwoman Nina C. Alice could receive medical treatment for an infection.

SKEW SISKIN's latest CD, "Album of the Year", was released in November 2003 through ulfTone Music. The band is currently seeking a new label home.
