The dates will take the band to Austin for South By Southwest, and most of them will see the band alongside old friends and tour mates, Saviours. These dates are in addition to the previously announced Australian appearances at the Soundwave Festivals, and the "Sidewave" off-dates.
Front man James Paul Luna commented: "After months of endless writing, re-writing, recording and re-recording I'm so excited to go back on tour! Not only am I stoked to be playing SXSW but I'm even more stoked to play with our great buddies Saviours, who are pretty much the best dudes ever! Touring is a great escape from day to day stress and domesticated life and I miss that adventure into the 'real world.' I'm also really excited to see all the rad friends and fans we've made so far, and can't wait to meet and make new ones. Cheers!" More...

After two years of aggressive touring that saw the group perform alongside Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian, Exodus, Toxic Holocaust, 3 Inches of Blood and more, the Los Angeles quintet Holy Grail will soon enter the studio to record the follow-up to "Crisis In Utopia."
In the meantime, the band will release a holiday-themed 7-inch, "Seasons Bleedings," which is available now for pre-order. Limited to 500 copies (250 red, 250 green), the release -- which will be available digitally on December 6th and ship to customers shortly thereafter -- includes covers of King Diamond's "No Presents For Christmas" and the Rainbow classic "Kill The King," and features artwork by Sam Turner (3 Inches of Blood). This marks the first time that guitarist Alex Lee (ex-Bonded By Blood), who joined Holy Grail in the spring, has recorded with the group. Pre-order "Seasons Bleedings" at this location.
The digital version of "Seasons Bleedings" will also include covers of Judas Priest's "Exciter" and Accept's "Fast As A Shark," both of which originally appeared on the group's out-of-print debut EP "Improper Burial."
Vocalist James Paul Luna commented: "Back when we first talked about doing a Christmas 7-inch, the first song that came to mind was 'No Presents for Christmas,' so I'm pretty happy to see that came to fruition. Eli was listening to lots of Rainbow at the time, so naturally 'Kill The King' was our immediate second choice. Even though these versions can't out-do the legendary originals by King and Dio, I feel pretty happy and excited to see this released on vinyl."
Guitarist Eli Santana added: "It was pretty rad, because after all the touring we've done the past year, we got to get back into recording mode and test the waters, plus have fun with it, before settling down to work on the album." More...

Cam Pipes from 3 Inches Of Blood shared his thoughts on the band's upcoming tour with Eluveitie:
"This is gonna be an interesting tour for us. We’re used to being on tours with metalcore/screamo bands and we stick out like a sore thumb. This tour, I think we’ll share more musical similarities with the other bands and therefore will be playing to a more like-minded crowd. At the same time, each band brings something unique to the tour. I’m predicting all the bands will get along famously. This should be a treat for our fans too ‘cause they’ll be seeing us with styles of bands that we aren’t mached up with too often!"
Eluveitie also commented:
"Thank you Cam Pipes, and we agree: This is going to be a blast. We’d like to add for anyone thinking the package is a little weird: If you’ve ever seen any of the bands live imagine that energy times four and you know what to expect on this tour and why it fits just right." More...

Vocalist Luna of Holy Grail has issued the following statement about the band's upcoming tour with Eluveitie and 3 Inches of Blood:
"We’re really excited to tour with Eluveitie and 3 Inches Of Blood, our last tours with both these bands were a complete blast and we really hit it off well! It’s like touring with family. Can’t wait to hit the road! This package is perfect, we have a great balance of melodic heavy metal bands with brutal riffs and wild live energy across the board! I’m also looking forward to check out System Divide!"
Eluveitie also added: "We ourselves can add that we had a great time with the guys of Holy Grail on our last run together with Amon Amarth and we are looking forward to this one! On another note we have received questions about the lack of VIP-Tickets for this tour, as they seem to be very popular these days. The answer to this is simple: We checked out offerings of other tours, we have considered it, and we have decided that you can get most of it on any Eluveitie show already but we do not think that we should be charging you money for it. Fan contact has always been (and will always be) a big part of what we are and as always we will be hanging out after the show to chat, take pictures, get drunk (occasionally..), and sign whatever the hell you would like to have signed.
"In fact free posters and autograph cards will be available at the merch booth this time (while stocks last of course). And since we’re traveling in a big ass tour bus it’s really not that hard to find us if you feel the urge to say hi during the day! So while we will probably offer 200$-plus tickets just like anybody else if we ever become a stadium band all you need to do for now is to keep your eyes open, and don't be shy."
Pasadena, California thrash metallers Holy Grail have posted the following band update online;
"This tour had been remarkable! We knew we really had to have our chops dialed in because the Blind Guardian fans are a very devout power metal fanbase, but night after night we win the crowd over one song at a time. At the start of our set they watch observantly with arms crossed, then halfway through you see them headbanging, and then by the final song they are pounding their fists in the air. It’s been awesome to see that transformation of new fans! Blind Guardian and their crew has also been the best bunch of guys to tour with, this is by far one of the greatest tours we’ve done! I hope we get to do more together in the future!"
After I bought my ticket to the Sacred Worlds and Songs Divine Tour I realized I had never seen Blind Guardian play live, which in turn sparked some questions: would I have to recite Gimli’s entire family tree to get my ticket from will call? Would the audience be acting out the grand tales Blind Guardian spins in real-time? Would I need a suit of armor? A battle axe? Should I ride my war horse or would my lighter travelling mare be better suited to the evening? Fortunately all my questions would be answered by the great bards…
I arrived just as opening act Seven Kingdoms was getting rolling. Hailing from Orlando, Florida these power and speed metal troubadours have the chops and desire to be quite good, even though silky vocalist Sabrina V could use a couple semesters in the Angela Gossow School of Stage Presence for Women. The songs ranged from overwrought to outstanding; set closer “Seven Kingdoms” was the standout as the eponymous tune was Maiden-meets-Yngwie-meets-Doro fun, and Seven Kingdoms was warmly appreciated by the already full house.
