"Final studio update: Near the end of studio time. Doing vocals today and hopefully done by tonight. Its been an intens heavy and a fucking great experience so far.

Norway's Cage of Torment is currently in the studio laying down tracks for an upcoming 6 song mini-album. The band has now checked in with the following brief update about the drum recording process:

"Studio update: Did drums on Friday and Saturday. Fucking great. Start recording guitar and bass today, Monday."

"For our fans and people who support us and write about us. We are in a process working on getting a better and more satisfied sound on our earlier recorded songs. This is taking more time then expected but it gonna turn out good!

"Earlier this month we had to part ways with our 2nd guitar player for different reasons. Once again cage of torment is a battle of 4! Despite every kickback, delays and member change, Cage of Torment have become more brutal and stronger as a band. For all of you who believe in us and follow us, we will not give in!

"11 Feb 2011 we're having our first gig this year. Too long since last time. All in all 2011 is looking great as we have faith in our self and believe in what we do and have this passion for music. Hope you are still with us in 2011. Thank you!"

Cage Of Torment Recruits New Vocalist

Norwegian death metallers Cage of Torment recently announced that they parted ways with their vocalist Gorbag (also of black metal band Emancer) and stated they would continue as a three peice. Cage of Torment has now announced the addition of newcomer "Scream" as their permanent replacement vocalist. The demo recording that was put on hold after the departure of Gorbag is expected to continue now that the band has filled their vacant vocalist position.
