Echoterra Recruits New Vocalist And Drummer

Symphonic metal band Echoterra has issued the following update about recruiting a new vocalist and drummer:

"We would like to officially welcome our new band mates; singer Melissa Ferlaak and drummer Adam Sagan. Melissa is known for her vocals on Visions of Atlantis' third release, Trinity. Adam is well known for his work with the Canadian metal band, Into Eternity.

"We have parted ways with singer Suvi Virtanen for the sole reason that she is located in Sweden while the rest of the band is located in the U.S. which makes it very difficult to perform live. We would like to thank her for her phenomenal performance on our debut cd and we wish her nothing but the best in her future projects. Adam replaces John Gensmer since John is busy with his main band Epicurean and will not have the time to dedicate to Echoterra; we send him a huge thank you as well and we look forward to hearing Epicurean's next album.

"We are currently working on a brand new EP which will feature three re-recorded songs with Melissa and a couple of instrumentals that were left off the first album. We have uploaded one of these songs, In Your Eyes, to our myspace so please check it out and let us know your thoughts. We will shoot a video for In Your Eyes early next year and it will be on the EP as well. More...
