Louder Than Life Festival Lineup Announced

The full lineup and band performance times have been revealed for the first Louder Than Life festival - featuring music, whiskey and "gourmet man food" - on October 4th & 5th at Champions Park near downtown Louisville, Kentucky.

Devilment To Tour With Lacuna Coil

U.K. outfit Devilment, which features Dani Filth, has announced a European Tour with Lacuna Coil and Motionless In White.

This will be Lacuna Coil's first European headline tour in support of new album, "Broken Crown Halo" (reviewed here).

Dani Filth comments: "At last Devilment is unleashed upon an unsuspecting world! In This Moment To Headline Hellpop Tour

Southern California’s In This Moment is returning to headline status this Fall hitting the road on the first-ever Hellpop Tour.

The tour will also feature Motionless in White, Kyng, and All Hail The Yeti in support. The trek kicks off October 24th in Tempe, AZ at the Marquee and runs through November 27th when it wraps up at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA. Dates are available below.

In This Moment will also be playing a special Halloween show in Shreveport, LA on October 31st which will be a spectacle not to be missed. Pre-sale tickets for the initial announced dates will go on sale on Tuesday August 6th at 12:00PM EST and on-sale to the public on Friday, August 9th via Ticketmaster. Asking Alexandria Announces U.S. Shows

Asking Alexandria will return to the U.S. for a short headlining record release trek starting August 6th. The group's third full-length album, "From Death To Destiny," is also set for an August 6th release and Motionless In White, Upon A Burning Body, and Crown The Empire will be the supporting acts on all dates.

Ben Bruce states: "America, we're fucking back and we're better than ever. We have a very short headlining run throughout the Midwest to celebrate the release of our brand new album 'From Death to Destiny'. Motionless In White Releases New Music Video

Motionless In White has premiered the official music video for "America" today on VEVO. Directed by M. Shawn "Clown" Crahan of Slipknot, and featuring a cameo from Ashley Costello of New Year's Day, the video features lead singer Chris Motionless as the ringmaster in the band's twisted freak show. Check it out below.

Alongside the "America" music video premiere, the band has launched a contest for fans to enter to win the ultimate prize bundle including a pair of tickets to Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, a Motionless In White prize pack, and a subscription to Revolver Magazine.

The daily performance lineup for Rocklahoma has been revealed and single day tickets will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, April 17 at 10:00 AM CT at this location.

Rocklahoma - presented by Bud Light - will celebrate its seventh year May 24th, 25th, and 26th with a lineup including Guns N’ Roses, Alice In Chains, Korn, and many more.

Mayhem Festival 2013 Lineup Announced

The lineup for the sixth annual Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival was announced today. Artists performing on the 2013 fest include main stage metal and horror legend, festival closer, ROB ZOMBIE, plus, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and a lineup that includes additional main stage bands MASTODON and AMON AMARTH. The festival area is led by stage closers CHILDREN OF BODOM and MACHINE HEAD as well as BEHEMOTH, JOB FOR A COWBOY, EMMURE, BORN OF OSIRIS, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE, BUTCHER BABIES, BATTLECROSS, HUNTRESS, THROWN INTO EXILE and CITY IN THE SEA. More Bands Confirmed For Soundwave Festival 2012

Although it wasn't expected until December, the organizers of Australia's Soundwave Festival have made their second band announcement. Joining the 60 bands already announced are Staind, Wednesday 13, Unearth, Cathedral, Shadows Fall, Heaven Shall Burn, Your Demise, Kittie, and 14 other (mostly non-metal) bands.

Hole has pulled out of the festival after frontwoman Courtney Love refused to play before Limp Bizkit. Soundwave boss AJ Maddah said on Twitter that he was "relieved we got the moody old cow off the bill. [There’s] no point talking her back, only for her to cancel later, or turn up & act like a rotten twat to other artists, fans, etc."

A third announcement in early December will add another five bands to the lineup, and Danzig is one of the confirmed possibilities. More...
