Michael Angelo Batio Posts New Video
M.A.C.E Records has officially released the new Michael Angelo Batio music video "8 Pillars of Steel," which is playing below.
The song was written by Michael Angelo Batio and longtime friend Marc McNally and features guest solos by music icons George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob, KXM), Elliott Dean Rubinson (Uli Jon Roth, Michael Schenker), Jeff Loomis (Conquering Dystopia, Nevermore), Craig Godly (Dio), Dave Reffett (Shredding The Envelope), Andrea Martongelli (Arthemis), Rusty Cooley (Day Of Reckoning) and drum virtuoso Joe Babiak.
"8 Pillars Of Steel" is the first single from Batio's new album "Intermezzo," which features 10 tracks of brand new, original music. It is filled with Batio's signature virtuoso guitar playing, mixed meters, great melodies, superb arrangements, world class production and features an amazing list of some of the best guitarists on the planet. This is the first album that the shredder recorded using his new Dean signature MAB 7 "Warrior" 7-string guitar.

Michael Angelo Batio Joins Maxxxwell Carlisle
"Speed Force," the new instrumental shred album from Los Angeles based metal guitarist Maxxxwell Carlisle, featuring legendary shredder Michael Angelo Batio and cello virtuoso Tina Guo is set for worldwide release on November 19th, 2010, via Power Dungeon Music. The full-length CD is the follow-up to Maxxxwell's previous solo album, the vocal based "Ramming Speed". Michael Batio melts his fretboard on the 7 minute shred-epic, "Axis Accelerator" and Tina Guo plays an eargasm inducing electric cello solo on "Duet for Electric Guitar and Electric Cello in A minor" (currently available on iTunes). The majority of the tracks also feature top LA session drummer Anton Peterson.
