Dunderbeist To Support Fear Factory/Devin Townsend

Dunderbeist is heading out on a European Tour in November as an opener for Fear Factory and Devin Townsend Project. Dates are available below. This week Dunderbeist also released the first single, "Father Serpent," from the upcoming album "Songs Of The Buried." The single is available on iTunes and Spotify.

Dunderbeist is sorry to announce that the band has to postpone the planned and already confirmed Djerv/Dunderbeist Tour in December. Here is Djerv’s statement on this matter: "We’re sad to announce we are postponing our European tour in December. Events outside our control make it impossible to go through with this headliner run. We apologize to our fans who had bought tickets and to the promoters who had been working with us on this tour. We will be back soon, rest assured. Thanks for your support and understanding."

Dunderbeist comments: “Dunderbeist are truly sorry about this as well, but we hope that some of you can make it to some of our November shows instead, OR wait till we get the new 2013 dates for the Djerv tour. Also we have to cancel the show in Alta (Norway) on nov 16th cause of the Fear Factory/Devin Townsend tour. We are truly sorry about this, having to let you guys down. Alta is one of our favourite cities to play, and we are pulling every string to find a new date for you guys!" More...

Devin Townsend To Stream "Retinal Circus"

On October 27th, renowned multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer and now ringleader, Devin Townsend is gearing up for one of his biggest accomplishments to date: The Retinal Circus. Set to take place at London's historic Roundhouse venue, this one-night only event has been sold out for over a year now; however, fans worldwide can still watch this event live online, thanks to Northern Music Company & InsideOut Music in association with Live Music Stage.

To watch Devin Townsend's Retinal Circus online, visit this location to purchase your tickets (tickets can be bought now for £7.99, which is roughly $13 and €10; paypal and all major credit cards are taken).

Devin describes the Retinal Circus as: "a retrospective of my career in music to date, with the central theme being a metaphor of how life and the adventures therein are a 'circus' of sorts. The show involves a cast of characters and guests that support this theme through carnival type performances. A story about how a troubled young man dreams of fantastic scenarios, (illustrated through the music of my back catalogue), which ultimately crests in the characters realization that life is all about the relationships we have with each other. This is the first opportunity I have been given to make theatrical representations of my music."

This three hour plus performance will include:

- A retrospective of Devin Townsend's entire career
- Full choir and theatrical cast
- Visual and aural enhancements unlike any show Devin has done to date
- Several special guests
- Circus and carnival performances and cast
- Art exhibit of Devin's albums, including explanations of each album
