The Empire Shall Fall has checked in with the following announcement about the release of "Volume 1: Solar Plexus" and an update about working on two follow-up releases:
"Hello all! We are excited to bring you some details about the release of Volume 1. We can now happily say that it will be released digitally on Tuesday, December 6th (via iTunes and other digital music outlets). The vinyl will not be completed pressing until the end of December, but we didn’t want to make our fans (who have all been so supportive) wait anymore. All those who preordered will be emailed the download code several days prior to December 6th release as a thank you for your preorder and as compensation for the delay of the vinyl. Once we have the vinyl we will ship all the preorders (with all T-shirts, Hoodies, etc). Due to the special nature of this release we will not be taking orders for any vinyl from December 6th until the preorders ship. We will also stop taking preorders at the end of November; November 30th will be your last day to preorder at the discounted prices and package deals. We have worked very hard on this first installment and cannot wait to share it with you.
"A new album release also means something else: new show dates! For the first time since September of 2010 we will be taking the stage starting in January. Brooklyn has always been kind to us, so we are pleased to say that our first show back will be there on January 6th. Below is a list of a few tentative dates (more info and more dates to be released later). Any questions regarding booking can be directed to TESFbooking@gmail.com.
January 6th-Brooklyn, New York
January 7th-Kearny, New Jersey
January 13th-Providence, RI
January 14th-Boston, MA
"Finally, we are working on Volume 2 (and Volume 3). In the preliminary stage we can safely say that Volume 2 will be a heavier record (this is intentional, and goes with the concept). We have most of the songs in their skeletal structure, and over the next few months hope to polish things up so we can be recording in the spring (this time hopefully with a faster turn around!).
We are excited to finally bring some new music to everyone, and would like to thank everyone who has helped us, especially with this particular endeavor, and we hope to see you at a show in 2012!"

Times of Grace, the side project of Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and the band's former singer Jesse Leach, will hit the road in February for a U.S. tour that launches two weeks after the release of the band's debut, The Hymn of a Broken Man.
The album, much of which was written by Adam D while he was laid up in a London hospital recovering from back surgery, comes out Jan. 18.
Leach, frontman for Seemless and The Empire Shall Fall, said of the tour: “We are excited after all of these years to see Times of Grace become a live band! We have a solid group of musicians on board and some killer bands in the works. This is shaping up to be a tour to be remembered, and the first that reunites Adam and I on one stage together again! I couldn't be more pleased to present this band to the world.”
Adam D added: “Jesse and I are wicked excited to be able to bring our songs to fans live...FINALLY after all these years. We hope you all get a chance to check out the record and come sing along with us when we come to a town near you. Thanks to all of those who support this project, and we hope to see you all very soon!”

Rhode Island-based progressive metalcore outfit THE EMPIRE SHALL FALL released a free MP3 on June 21, 2010 to mark the release of their critically acclaimed debut album “Awaken,” which became available in all UK and European stores as of June 21, 2010.
The band recorded “Arcarsenal” by At The Drive-In as a treat for their fans both new and old. Bassist Nick Sollectio had the following to say regarding the track: “We had debated for months about a cover song that was appropriate for us on a whole. I suggested something by ‘At The Drive-In’ to which Jake suggested ‘Arcarsenal’ and we all agreed immediately. Taking on a song by a band as mighty as At The Drive-In is no small task, and we understand the dangers in doing so. But, I think we all love the band so much that it was hard to say no.”
“Awaken” will be released through Angle Side Side Records (Distributed through Code7 Distribution).
