Valume Nob Announce New Member

VALUME NOB, the Louisiana-based band featuring CROWBAR/DOWN guitarist Kirk Windstein on bass, have issued the following update:

"VALUME NOB has been taking this time since we have returned from the U.K. to prepare our new member Sammy Molina for picking up the four-string. Sammy is as tight as they come. Kirk is not out of the band, but with DOWN being busy, we deciced to bring another man on board. When Kirk can make VALUME NOB duty,... we will move Sammy to second guitar, as he is a shredder on the six-string as well. We are moving right along with his progress, and we were recently asked to headline The Bayou Underground Metal Fest, a festival here in New Orleans on August 5th at The Howlin Wolf. Valume Nob In Talks With Demolition Records

VALUME NOB, the Louisiana based band featuring CROWBAR/DOWN guitarist Kirk Windstein on bass, are in talks with England's Demolition Records about the release of their already-completed full-length debut, entitled "Residue and Bones". If all goes well, the album could be released as early as March. The upcoming CD will include a track entitled "The 8 of Spades" dedicated to MOTÖRHEAD mainman Lemmy Kilmister. "Residue and Bones" was recorded at American studios in Los Angeles with engineer Warren Riker (DOWN, CROWBAR).

VALUME NOB released an extended version of their previously recorded "The Most High" EP in October 2004 through Crash Music Inc. The CD contains the four songs from the original recording as well as two "live" bonus tracks and a 30-minute DVD interview with the band.

Valume Nob To Play At Voodoo Music Experience

Crash Music, Inc. today announces that New Orleans hardcore act Valume Nob has been confirmed to play the 6th annual Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans. This year’s lineup includes The Beastie Boys, Kid Rock, Velvet Revolver and more. Valume Nob will take the stage at 4:15pm on Saturday October 16th. Their new EP "The Most High" will be released on Crash Music on October 19, 2004

The band consists of Kirk Windstein (Down/ Crowbar), Marshall Black, Frey Thieler, and Sid Montz; all veterans of the metal music scene.

Crash Music is distributed in the U.S. by Caroline Distribution and has offices in France that handle the European territories through Crash Music Europe.

Valume Nob Upcoming Shows Announced

Valume Nob, the Louisiana based band featuring Crowbar guitarist Kirk Windstein on bass, have lined up the following shows during December:

Dec. 05 – New Orlans, LA @ Dixie Tavern
Dec. 27 – Metairie, LA @ Zeppelins (w/ Lacerate, Killing Mercy)

The band, who describe their music as "Agnostic Front meets Celtic Frost with an old-school punk twist," currently consist of the following:
