Murder She Wrote Releasing New EP

Murder She Wrote has issued the following announcement about releasing a new EP and recruiting a new vocalist:

"Great news! Our new EP 'Consumed' is set to release on iTunes Friday October 1st, 2010! It will be available for $5! Oh yea and we have a new screamer! His name is Maverick and we're really stoked to have him! It's gonna be a big year!"

Rockland county's Murder She Wrote has checked in with the following update about finishing the recording for a new EP:

"Hello everyone! It has certainly been a while since we've posted any updates on here so lets do this. We just recently finished recording our new EP with Kevin Kumetz. It will consist of 5 songs and will be released in early September. It is going to be available on iTunes probably for about $5.

"We are also going to have a new layout soon along with the release of our new EP. So be sure to check that out as well. Be sure to keep checking our page for new shows, videos, and updates."

Murder She Wrote Issues Band Update

Murder She Wrote has checked in with the following update about the band's activity:

"Hello everyone! We realize its been a while since you have received any updates so here we are briefly going to talk about what our plans are for this summer. We do have a few shows booked so far for May and one or two possibly in July. We are laying low for a little bit to write a bunch of new songs.

"We are officially booked to be in the studio for 2 weeks with Kevin Kumetz to record our full length album this August! It will feature 10 brand new songs on it that show off our new sound. We feel that our music has matured immensely from our previous recordings. We're going to put out something that will blow you away!

"Lastly we have lots of new merch coming in! Our shirts should be here within the next week or two and will shortly be available online at our BigCartel store. Through the summer we will be ordering more merch as we get money, so be on the lookout for new shirts, wristbands, and anything else we can stick out logo on. Keep giving the love and support that this band thrives on!"

Murder She Wrote, formerly known as A Filthy Addiction, has issued the following announcement about recording a new EP:

"Ok so here's a few things you might be interested in knowing. We just finished recording 3 new songs at AI studios and they are being mastered right now! Those should be released in about 2 weeks. Those songs with 'Your Favorite Bedtime Hero' will make up our still untitled EP. Release date for the EP will be announced shortly and we are also gonna work on getting it on itunes! So look out for that!

"Also we have a huge show coming up with TEXAS IN JULY and I AM HISTORY! 2 amazing bands from Pennsylvania. We are only getting 25 tickets for this so contact us asap if you want one. Gonna be a sick show so check it out! Lastly, we are entered in this years Break Contest to win a chance to play BAMBOOZLE 2010! We need all of the support we can get to make this happen so please contact us for tickets! We need to sell at LEAST 40 to play, so help us out! Keep listening/supporting!"

Murder She Wrote Drummer Fractures Pinky

Murder She Wrote, formerly known as A Filthy Addiction, has issued the following announcement about canceling their upcoming tour dates due to their drummer injuring his hand:

"Bad News. Hey guys i have some really bad news. I'm not gonna get into too much detail but unfortunately I fractured my pinky and will not be able to play the drums for a while. This means we are most likely to cancel all of our upcoming shows through mid October. We WILL still be playing the school of rock show with Haste The Day. if i had to id glue a drumstick to my hand to play that show for all you guys.

"Again I'm really sorry if I've disappointed any of you, but the best way you guys can make me feel better is by showing some love and support for me and my band mates. Also buy tickets to see us at SCHOOL OF ROCK NJ w/ HASTE THE DAY. that will be my return show. tix are $12 so talk to us!"
