After wrapping up a successful U.S. tour with Between The Buried and Me and Animals as Leaders, Tesseract is pleased to announce the band will be playing day three of Bamboozle Festival. Held in Asbury Park, NJ, Tesseract will perform on May 20th, appearing alongside a number of impressive performers. The band commented:
"Festivals are always great to do, but for our first US festival to be Bamboozle is crazy. To be on the same bill as Incubus, Foo Fighters and Bon Jovi is a great boost for us. Bamboozle has a great tradition of mixing things up, and the bill for the 10 year anniversary festival looks to be adhering firmly to this, with bands like TesseracT, Periphery and Whitechapel sharing the stage with Skrillex, Jimmy Eat World and All American Rejects. It looks like it's going to be great fun!"

"It was recorded and mixed in glorious 5.1 surround sound by Francesco Cameli at the prestigious Sphere Studios, and then mastered by Andrew 'Hippy' Baldwin at Metropolis Studios during December 2010. After the track was completed, the band went directly into shooting a music video for the single, which was premiered earlier this week and can be seen here.

"We're really happy with how Eden 2.0 turned out, and as a gift to all of our wonderful friends we'd like to share it with you guys for free, as a token of our appreciation for your support over the last few years." Says bassists Amos Williams. "We had always wanted to revisit 'Eden' and Elliot joining our fold gave us the perfect opportunity to do such a thing. We hope that this, along with the beautiful and haunting video for its release directed by Ganesh Rao, is a fitting introduction to the world of the new TesseracT sound ahead of the new album which we aim to start writing soon."

Tesseract has checked in with the following update about canceling shows from the "Lowering the Tone" tour due to illness:
"Due to illness we're having to cancel the first part of the 'Lowering the Tone' tour in Europe with Chimp Spanner. This really sucks and it is something that we are deeply sorry about.
"However, we are trying to make sure that we're able to perform at Euroblast on October 22nd, and in Breda with Textures on the 23rd. To everyone that had purchased a ticket and everyone that was planning on coming along we're truly sorry."

TesseracT has gone back to the band's roots with the release of an instrumental version of "One." Check out the song below. Bassist Amos Williams explains:
“TesseracT began as an instrumental project in Acle's filthy cat ridden bedroom, so it has always had quite a strong instrumental focus. That's not to say that we don't enjoy vocals, we love them! But, it is worth noting that with every song we write, we like for it to be able to stand up on its own with or without vocals. We've always had the mind to, about six months after the initial release of 'One', to then release the instrumental version. It’s something that the fans have always asked us to do, and we felt now was the correct time to do so.”
Tesseract has posted a behind-the-scenes video clip online from the band's time working on the upcoming "Eden" music video. You can check out the footage below, or find still photos and comments from the director at this location.

Tesseract recently announced the recruitment of new vocalist Elliot Coleman, and the band has now posted a recording clip online.
You can check out the footage below of Tesseract recording the "Eden" single with Francesco Carmeli at Sphere Studios in London.
TesseracT has announced that Elliot Coleman has joined the band as lead vocalist. Elliot replaces former vocalist Dan Tompkins. TesseracT bassist, Amos Williams, makes the following introduction:
“We'd like to take this opportunity to introduce somebody special, Elliot Coleman. Some of you may know him as a member of Zelliack, Sky Eats Airplane and Of Legends, or maybe from OMNOM, or Haunted Shores. Well now he's part of TesseracT! We're very excited about working with Elliot as we feel he has a great talent and personality, as well as, and most importantly a voice that transcends the norm and continues the TesseracT tradition of taking things to the next level.”
Elliot also comments: “I'm very much excited to be a part of the juggernaut that is TesseracT. I know I have big shoes to fill as Dan is a fantastic vocalist, but i'm confident that we'll be producing some great new music in the coming year and i'll be adding some new flavours to this ever evolving machine” More...
