Aldebaran Announces West Coast Shows
West Coast doom gods Aldebaran have announced a string of West Coast dates with the mighty Graves At Sea. Ash Borer will be joining the tour on the Portland and Seattle dates exclusively as a warm up for a European tour. Dates are as follows:

Noothgrush Announces Tour Dates With Aldebaran
Oakland sludge band Noothgrush will be touring Europe this May with Portland funeral doom group Aldebaran. Their first two dates will be in Copenhagen, Denmark as part of the Heavy Days In Doomtown festival. The tour will continue through Germany and into the Czech Republic for a show with fellow Americans Jucifer. Aldebaran is touring in support of its new CD on Profound Lore and Noothgrush is gearing up for its first ever Baltimore apprearance as part of the Saturday show for this year’s Maryland Deathfest X, in support of Archgoat, Winter, Anvil and Morbid Angel. Aldebaran Finishes New Album
Portland's Aldebaran has issued the following announcement about finishing the new album "Buried Beneath Aeons:"
"'Buried Beneath Aeons' complete! Out January 2011! Mixing and mastering are complete along with the artwork and layout. This will go to press first week in January and should be available by the end of the month.
"CD first then LP version coming in March. 3 samples from the 28 minute track up now. Some monolithic shows to be announced soon... Doom 'til death!"

Aldebaran Issues Album Update
Portland's Aldebaran has issued the following brief update about the recording process for the "Buried Beneath Aeons," the band's new album: "Buried... now being mixed. All the recording is complete and we are now working on the mix. The layout is basically done so once the mix is complete this will go to press!" Aldebaran Issues Recording Update
Portland, Oregon based band Aldebaran has issued the following recording update:
"We just finished up 6 days in the studio with Billy Anderson. 4 new tracks clocking in a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes. This is by far our best material and recording to date! 95% of everything is tracked there are a few details to add here and there and then the mixing process will begin. The first release will be one 35 minute track called 'Buried Beneath Aeons.'
"We expect this to be out Sept./Oct. this year. Then the as yet untitled full length will be released winter 2010. This will have 3 new tracks, 'SENTINEL OF A SUNLESS ABYSS', 'WHERE THE BLACK STARS HANG' and an untitled instrumental. Both releases will be released on LP and CD. Doom 'til death!"
Aldebaran Gearing Up To Enter The Studio
Portland, Oregon based metal act Aldebaran has issued the following update about preparing to enter the recording studio:
"Update....We will finally be entering Revolver studios July 14-19 with Billy Anderson behind the controls to commit these current abominations to tape. The cover art will be revealed in May. We only have 2-3 shirts available at this time and we have very few copies of the split 7" with Unearthly Trance left for ordering."

The Howling Wind Completes New Album, Posts MP3
Formed by Ryan Lipynsky (the artist formerly known as Killusion, also of UNEARTHLY TRANCE of course) after the demise of USBM band THRALLDOM, and now in conspiracy with drummer Tim Call (ALDEBARAN), THE HOWLING WIND have completed work on their new album “Into The Cryosphere.”
Following the band’s “Pestilence & Peril” debut, THE HOWLING WIND's “Into The Cryosphere” takes cue from such legends as CELTIC FROST/HELLHAMMER, BATHORY, old-school DARKTHRONE, and AUTOPSY, while harboring a pedigree seeped within occult nature and lore. Overall, “Into The Cryosphere” is “a depiction of the fall of humanity reflected through a sheet of ice,” says the label.
To be released late April via Profound Lore Records, the tracklisting for “Into The Cryosphere” goes as follows:

Portland's Aldebaran has issued the following update about recording new material:
"Hails! We are proud to announce 2 shows supporting Australia's PortalL! One Portland show on the 18th of May and a Seattle show on the 19th. Seattle details will be revealed soon. We are very honored to be sharing the stage with these masters of obskure madness! The recording has been pushed back to June, still working on completing the material for the as yet untitled full length."

Portland metallers Aldebaran have issued the following update about recording new material:
"As winter sets in everything is coming together for a March studio session with Mr. Billy Anderson. Quite a bit of new material will be recorded in this time, the first of which 'Buried Beneath Aeons' should see a release date in spring 2010. This will be a release based around the 30 minute track of the same name. Cover art has already been completed by the master of the macabre Dan Seagrave. We have the artwork and it is fucking amazing!
"Also, the yet to be named full length will be recorded in March to see a late summer/fall release. And if everything goes well a track for a split with COFFINS will be recorded at the same time. The ALDEBARAN/ UNEARTHLY TRANCE split 7" will be here next week! Limited to 500 copies on black vinyl and comes with a vinyl sticker for each band.
"And last but not least we will be crawling out of our crypt to share the stage with the kings of fucking misery, EYEHATEGOD, on Dec 5th at Satyricon!! We will have a few new items of merch available at this show. Until death....."

Portland metallers Aldebaran have issued the following update about upcoming releases:
"Hails!
"We will not be playing any shows until winter as we are working hard at finishing the new material, so please don't ask. We will be recording this fall for the new album entitled 'Buried Beneath Aeons', to be released on ENUCLEATION RECORDS and a split lp/cd with the mighty COFFINS! This will be a split release between PARASITIC and ENUCLEATION. If everything goes as planned this will be released a few months prior to the full length, hopefully Nov./..his year.
"The ALDEBARAN/ZOROASTER split 7" should be out in the next 3 weeks on KREATION RECORDS, the test presses were just approved!
"The UNEARTHLY TRANCE/ ALDEBARAN split 7' will now be released by PARASITIC RECORDS, this will go to press in Sept.. 'til death....."
