Century Media Records is very proud to announce the worldwide signing of French death/black metal band Svart Crown. The label had this to say:
"Svart Crown's previously released albums 'Ages Of Decay' (2008), 'Witnessing The Fall' (2010) and especially 'Profane' (2013) have gained the band a lot of attention as being one of the most interesting and most diverse extreme metal bands rising from the French scene. Impressive musicianship, intricate song-writing and excellent live shows solidified Svart Crown's reputation as trailblazers of a new breed of blackened death metal."
Vocalist and guitarist JB Le Bail further comments: "We are really proud to announce our signature with Century Media Records. It's been a very logical next step for us to go with a worldwide structure. Century Media has a strong foundation and remains one of the top leaders in the extreme music industry. This is a big statement about the band's ambition and we can say now we have found the best partner to achieve our goal.
"We would like to thank Laurent, Steffie and Alex and Listenable Records, for all the dedicated work they've done for us during the past 6 years. The future looks bright, and we are really impatient to unleash our most ambitious effort so far. Be aware!"
Svart Crown's yet-untitled fourth album will see its worldwide release on March 3rd, 2017. Expect nothing less than a blasphemous and wicked piece of death/black metal art. More...
Remaining dates on the Marduk / Svart Crown tour have been cancelled, with Svart Crown having this to say about the situation:
"We are finally coming home. The last part of the Marduk Tour has been cancelled due to logisticals reasons explain below (see the Massive Music statement). From our part this is again a big disappointment. We are really frustrated to finish the Profane Tour with an other cancellation. It seems the curse is still there so we are going to take few weeks to thinks about the band future and will let you know soon as possible. The last think that we would like to share, is that we were really honored to share the stage with one the best black metal entity ever: Marduk. The first part of the tour was amazing , great crowd, good venue and good people. An eternal support to Massive Music (Mariusz, Marta, Darek), our crew Tryf & Max and all the band Cvinger, Bio Cancer and Crest Of Darkness."
Massive Music comments: "Dear friends, We are sorry to announce that due to the breakdown of the nightliner we are forced to cancel the 2nd part of Marduk tour. We were doing our best to fix it and play all shows, but we were unlucky with finding new nightliner in this short time. We are very sorry, because cancellation is always last choice and makes expenses for everybody - booking agency, bands and promoters. We'd like to postponed cancelled shows on Spring 2016."
Marduk also had this to say: "Unfortunately the Marduk tour bus has suffered a complete breakdown on the ongoing march throughout Europe. And despite the booking agency's attempts to solve the problem, including trying to rent a new bus through 9 different bus companies, none of them being able to supply a bus in time to make the rest of the tour happen, Massive Music and Marduk have decided to postpone the remaining dates to spring next year. This is totally out of the bands control, and at this point there is nothing more we can do. But... the dates will be rebooked and Marduk will return!" More...

"Due to complex circumstances out of our control, the Metal Alliance Tour in its original form has been cancelled and been replaced by a new tour including Deicide, Hate Eternal, Black Crown Initiate, and Lorna Shore.
"Unfortunately our fellow and best tour bus companions Entombed A.D. had to fly back to Sweden. We had then to decide either to do the same and return to France from Seattle, or to find a solution for ourselves (rent a van, driving, sleeping places...) and keep going with the rest of the bands... More determined than ever to conquer the US, WE DECIDED TO GO ON!
"In regards of this shitty situation, thank you for any way you can support us, blast the gigs, check out our merch at our stand and we will be eternally thankful for any help you can afford helping us with tips and Paypal (sons-of-underground[at]hotmail.fr) or even a place to stay so we keep up! Due to a family emergency, Austria’s diabolical death / black metal band Belphegor has been forced to cancel the planned headlining North American “Voices From The Dark” tour with Rotting Christ, Beheaded, and Svart Crown.
The tour was scheduled to launch September 24th in New York City. Belphegor front man & guitarist Helmuth Lehner issued the following statement:
"After fighting many months now (the last 4 months have been terrible), my mother is at the end. Her body is decaying more and more and will not survive the next weeks (maybe days) or will fall in coma soon. I will not risk being away at this time."
None of the other bands have issued a statement yet, so it's unclear if they will continue the tour or if the entire trek is off with the headlining band cancelling.
Update: Rotting Christ has now confirmed the tour is fully cancelled, stating: "As Rotting Christ we have no other choice than supporting Helmuth's family situation and to express simultaneously our deep disappointment with the fact that we will not meet our Northern American Metal brothers as we promised them with this tour. We promise though that we will work our asses off to be back in your land ASAP so stay tuned for updates." More...
The diabolical death/black metal band Belphegor will return to North American shores with a headlining tour this Fall.
Joining the raid of conquest and blasphemy, dubbed the “Voices From The Dark” tour 2014, is a cornucopia of the finest metal miscreants the world has to offer.
Greek outfit Rotting Christ as well as Beheaded from Malta and Svart Crown from France will be supporting on the trek.
“Belphegor is still brutal and consistent, rolling in worldwide like a wartime tank,” comments Belphegor frontman Helmuth Lehner. “It will be a pleasure to conquer the states again. On 'Conjuring The Dead' we celebrate diabolical death musick with one of our most brutal offerings yet. Join the Belphegor rituals and go to hell with us.”
The band's upcoming album "Conjuring The Dead" (reviewed here) is due out on August 5th (North America), August 8th (EU/Brazil/Japan), and August 11th (UK/FR) via Nuclear Blast. Catch the band live on these dates: More...
Three years after joining Svart Crown, drummer Nicolas "Ranko" Muller has departed the band. Ranko issued this statement:
"Dear friends, close ones and others, dear Svart Crown fans, I quietly announce to everyone of you that I leave the band. We're still friends, this decision is purely personal and natural to me.
"I'm thinking about it since a bunch of time. I want to be honest with one thing: I'm really proud to have been a part of this journey, I traveled around the whole world and met a lot of great people. Guys, I won't forget. I had the chance to be a part of it and I wish the best to the guy who will take my seat with those killer dudes, built for the stage and the road. I will stay active in music, don't worry for that, I just had to leave the 'big thing' because of positive changes in my life, that's why I'm just feeling good and I feel absolutely no regrets. I leave a great band, to make great things by myself, and everyone will continue the way we chose. I love everyone of you so much, I hope you will miss me a little, but be sure I stay near. Hail Satan, or something like that."
Vocalist/guitarist Jb Le Bail comments: "Time's passing and each one's priorities can change, but the band's entity stays the most important to me. Svart Crown is really demanding, in terms of personal investment, energy and time, and it's really different from the way of life that Ranko needs now. The band loses an outstanding musician and a roadmate, and we wish him the best for the future.
"But we'll be back stronger after a short break this summer, numerous plans are running for us. Everything will be announced ASAP, and nothing will stop us. Concerning the cancellations, the Underwall Festival (Croatia) did not obtain the authorizations to let the bands play after midnight so they cancelled our participation in the last days before the show. We regret to be forced to cancel our presence in Brescia too. Ranko will be with us for a last concert at the Altherax, NICE, on this saturday the 7th. And so long!" More...

The UK has always been a blast for us, so make sure and attend these new shows and witness a full set of pure evil!"
Supporting will be Sweden's Diabolical as well as the UK's Ascaris. Diabolical guitarist Carl Stjärnlöv speaks of the announcement, "We're really looking forward to playing in the UK along with Svart Crown and Ascaris!
