Futures End has issued the following statement about creating guitar instructional videos to release via YouTube in November:
"We have received dozens of emails from guitarists the world over that are interested in learning to play the riffs and solos from the songs on Futures End's debut album, Memoirs of a Broken Man (Nightmare Records). Marc Pattison and Christian Wentz will gladly answer the call in the form of several videos designed to explore the techniques used to create the Futures End guitar sound. Shooting will begin the last week in October 2009 and the first video will be released via the band's YouTube channel sometime in November.
"We are going to break down a couple of songs and the solos in each video and release one a month for the next three months. Some of the stuff in our songs is pretty tough to play by ear and we are really happy to offer the videos as a way for other guitarists to really see what we are doing and make it easier for them to get it figured out. It should be fun!"
Futures End has posted a new song titled "Share the Blame" from the debut album "Memoirs of a Broken Man" on their official Myspace page. Futures End will continue to upload music from the album until the October 13th release date on Nightmare Records.

Futures End has issued the following statement about gearing up for the ProgPower USA Festival, which will take place on September 11th and 12th in Atlanta:
"The band has been practicing every night in Jon Allens hot-ass little home studio and I cannot believe how tight we are getting so fast. I have to admit I had some concerns about playing in front of the entire prog-metal community at Progpower this year as our first gig. THose concerns have been laid to rest at this point. We are going to have a great time and play our asses off!
"Fred Marshall is not going to get a chance to come out and practice with us before the gig and that has caused some trepidation. However, Fred is a consumate professional and complete perfectionist and we all know he will again earn the MVP award for our show in Atlanta. He is missed here, during our sessions to be sure, but we all have complete faith that he will deliver as he always does.
"We are all VERY excited to see you all out there in Atlanta this year. There will be a signing session Friday, Sept. 11th at about 4:00. You can meet up with us at the Nightmare Records table where we will have CD's and T-shirts available. PLEASE come by and say hi! We want to meet as many of you as we can!"
Futures End has issued the following announcement about streaming a new song online:
"Futures End has updated our Myspace site with another song from our debut album: Memoirs of a Broken Man (Nightmare Records). In an effort to familiarize the Progpower USA X Showcase attendees with our music before the festival, we will be uploading music from the record every two weeks until the release of the album in October.
"The responses have been just great. We would like to thank you all for stopping by our page and checking out the music, and for the great feedback we are getting! The song is called 'Forsaken' and features guest vocals by Magistral's Lucho Silva!
"Let us know what you think!"
Futures End has issued the following update about streaming two new songs online:
"In keeping our promise to post new songs from the album every two weeks, today we have uploaded two more tracks from our upcoming release - 'Memoirs of a Broken Man' on our MySpace page.
"Check out 'Your Decay' and 'Terrors of War' and let us know what you think!
"The release date for the record is October 11th on Nightmare Records but will be available as a pre-release at Progpower only!
"We want to share as much music with you as possible so you will be familiar with our music at our Progpower Showcase performance. Check back in two weeks as we will have more for ya! See you in Atlanta!"
Futures End has issued the following announcement about gearing up for their ProgPower USA Festival appearance:
"We had talked with monster keyzman Michael T. Ross about joining the Futures End camp. Michael is currently on tour in Europe with Lita Ford and it just didnt work out logistically to have him on the road with us for Progpower USA, unfortunately. So today Jon Allen and Marc Pattison are working out the backing tracks that we will be using for the live shows until we can get Michael on board.
"We talked about it, and want to be able to deliver live the same experience that you hear on the record. We took a little shit about it from some people, but if you go see Queensryche, Iron Maiden, or any number of acts on the road out there you will hear keyboard pads and sampled backing vocals that are not being performed live. So fuck it, it will sound killer.
"The people at Nady Wireless Systems will be helping us out with the in-ear monitors that we need to be sure we are all playing tightly with each other and with our keyboard tracks. I promise you, we will sound killer!
"More guitar practice tonight for Marc and me as we get our shiz nailed down for the return of our rythm section from the Sadus European tour!"
Futures End, who recently signed to Nightmare Records for the release of their upcoming album "Memoirs of a Broken Man," have announced that they will be uploading new music from the album every other week until its release date. The tracks "Inner Self" and "Relentless Chaos" can be heard now at the band's MySpace page.
