U.K. pagan black metal band Wodensthrone has unfortunately decided to call it a day, and all upcoming tour activity has been cancelled. The band comments:
"We regret to announce that after ten years of activity, Wodensthrone is no more, following the amicable departure of founding guitarist Wildeþrýð. We simply cannot carry on without such an integral member missing from the lineup.
"We would like to thank all of our supporters, all the bands we have shared the stage with, and all those who have helped make Wodensthrone's existence such an incredible experience during these years; we will take our memories to the grave.
"Wyrd Bið Ful Aræd!"

“The Paranoid” is taken from Ihshan's fourth solo album. Set for release June 19th, "Eremita" was mixed by Jens Bogren (Opeth) and features performances from drummer Tobias Ornes Andersen (Leprous), saxophonist Jorgen Munkeby (Shining-Norway), guitarist Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore), and vocalists Devin Townsend, Einar Solberg (Leprous), and Heidi S. Tveitan (StarofAsh).
The inclusion of an early production mix of Rumpelstiltskin Grinder's “Fucking Wild” follows the recent announcement of the band’s forthcoming new album, "Ghostmaker." The Philadelphia-based quartet recently completed a string of regional performances and are now gearing up for dates to support the new album once it hits stores nationwide on June 19th. Guitarist Ryan Moll says, "the title of this track says it all. It’s a rather suiting description of its relentlessness. The lyrics were written by Shawn (Riley) and the title was inspired by some old live Venom recordings."

UK pagan black metal band Wodensthrone has announced their signing to Candlelight Records.
The band comments, "Wodensthrone are very excited to be working with Candlelight Records; a label that has always embraced quality black metal and pioneered many artists we hold in high esteem. To be on the same label as one of our biggest influences, Emperor, is an incredible and humbling achievement for us. We hope this new alliance with one of metal’s most recognisable labels will take us to a new level in our musical careers and give us the opportunity to expose our art to a wider audience and finally take our live performances beyond the shores of Albion. The band hope this is the start of a lasting relationship with Candlelight and we are convinced that UK Black Metal is heading for a renaissance under their banner."
