Russian folk metal band Kalevala has posted an new song, "Tausen-rada," off their third LP album, "Ved'ma" ("The Witch"), on their MySpace page. The album was recorded and Mixed by Nikita Andriyanov.

Russian folk metal band, Kalevala, has posted a new acoustic ballad track, entitled "Kolokolchick" ("Handbell"), on their MySpace page. the song comes off of their upcoming record, "Kukushckiny Deti" ("The Cuckoo's Children").
Russia's folk metallers Kalevala have signed to Metalism Records. The band is currently in the studio with Sergey "Lazar" Atrashkevich (Arkona, Rossomahaar) to record their second album, "The Cuckoo's Children." Drums on the album were recorded by Andrey Ishchenko (ex-Catharsis, End Zone, Hieronymus Bosch and many more) who has also accepted the invitation to join Kalevala. The release of the album is planned for the end of September 2009.
