36 Crazyfists, signed to Roadrunner records in 2002, debuted with their album titled "Bitterness the Star'" and did 2004's critically acclaimed "A Snow Capped Romance". They have their own unique sound, standing out most in vocalist Broc Lindow's voice. They recorded their debut and dedicated one of the songs to their original bass player who lost his life in a car accident.
36 Crazyfists may have suffered a loss, but that hasn't stop them from making music. They combine hard driven gutiars comparable to Killswitch Engage and vocals that are something of their own. 36 Crazyfists are showing the world that Alaska's not only known for eskimos, but also kick ass metal. 36 Crazyfists are definately a band to watch over the years. Who knows where they'll take their unique sound, comparable to Killswitch Engage, next?

The album which was originally slated for a March 4th release is now slated to drop on April 29th. The album will still be produced by the band’s guitarist Steve Holt and mixed by Andy Sneap.

The band is pleased about the partnership with Ferret who are responsible for launching the careers of 36 Crazyfists’ contemporaries including FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE.
36 Crazyfists have completed writing and begUn the recording process after Thanksgiving. The band will be having guitarist and backing vocalist, Steve Holt, sitting in the producer’s chair. They have decided to work with Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, TESTAMENT, AS I LAY DYING) again on the mixing.
Lead singer Brock Lindow had this to say, “We could not be happier to be on Ferret Music, We are all big fans of the bands on the roster as well as the people who run the label. Our new record is now finished being written and we will start recording right after Thanksgiving. We will be out on tour in January starting with the UK and Europe first, looking forward to hitting the road and seeing all of our friends again.”
The UK tour will be with Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE. Keep an eye out for more info on that tour as well as later US dates. Don’t forget to prepare yourself for the release of The Tide And It’s Takers which is slated for a March release.
