36 Crazyfists logo

Formed: 1994
From: Anchorage, AK, United States
Last Known Status: Active

36 Crazyfists, signed to Roadrunner records in 2002, debuted with their album titled "Bitterness the Star'" and did 2004's critically acclaimed "A Snow Capped Romance". They have their own unique sound, standing out most in vocalist Broc Lindow's voice. They recorded their debut and dedicated one of the songs to their original bass player who lost his life in a car accident.

36 Crazyfists may have suffered a loss, but that hasn't stop them from making music. They combine hard driven gutiars comparable to Killswitch Engage and vocals that are something of their own. 36 Crazyfists are showing the world that Alaska's not only known for eskimos, but also kick ass metal. 36 Crazyfists are definately a band to watch over the years. Who knows where they'll take their unique sound, comparable to Killswitch Engage, next?

New Jersey's Toothgrinder released "Nocturnal Masquerade" earlier this year and now the band will embark on the biggest tour of its career so far, opening for Killswitch Engage, Memphis May Fire, and label mates 36 Crazyfists through March and April.

Needless to say, the band is stoked about the opportunity to join this trek. "Being massive fans of Killswitch Engage since their inception, it is completely mind-blowing that we have the opportunity to travel the country with them and our good friends in 36 Crazyfists," singer Justin Matthews enthused.

36 Crazyfists Signs With Spinefarm

The band is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and new album "Time and Trauma," is due out in February of 2015.

They are a genuine band of brothers that has grinded for 20 years to create a truly committed fanbase. Time and Trauma is an incredible way to begin the next 20 years for the band."
