Wolf Posts New Music Video Online
Swedish heavy metal outfit Wolf has posted a new music video online for the song, "Skull Crusher." You can check it out below. The video was filmed in Dublin, Republic Of Ireland and the song comes from the group's latest studio album, "Legion Of Bastards."
Niklas Stålvind (vocals and guitars) comments: "We have never had so much fun making a video as we had on this one. Smashing a car into smithereens is something we always wanted to do without cleaning up after us or get in trouble with the police. It was the best exercise/therapy you could ever wish for. I felt like I was 10 kilos lighter in both body and spirit afterwards. We had to work hard to demolish it good. A Volvo is made in Sweden and hard to tear apart - just like this Heavy Metal band. This one is for all the skull crushing metal heads out there - We salute you!" More...

Dream Theater And More Pay Tribute To Dio
As the tributes from fans, friends and critics alike pour in, more contemporaries of Ronnie James Dio have spoken about the man, his music and his legacy. You can read some more tributes below.
Exodus' Gary Holt - "What more can be said about Ronnie that hasn't been said by so many others. He was the kindest, most humble metal god I've ever had the pleasure and honor of touring with. I first met him at Foundations forum, about two to three weeks before our tour with them during the Dehumanizer tour, for about ten minutes while he waited outside for his cab. I introduced myself, said it was an all time honor to meet and tour with him and said see you soon. Fast forward to the first day of the tour, and he sees me and says "How are you doing Gary?". I would not have been offended if he never knew my name the whole tour, but he remembered it from a ten minute chat around three weeks earlier. We had many golden moments hanging out with him, while he allowed me to relentlessly badger him for stories about Ritchie Blackmore and the time spent singing for my favorite band, Rainbow. R.I.P., your impact on me won't ever be forgotten." More...
Wolf Posts New Music Video Online
Swedish heavy metal outfit Wolf has posted a new music video online for their song, "Hail Caesar." You can check it out below. Speaking on the video, guitarist Johannes stated: “When approached by Morning Star Films to shoot a video for 'Hail Cesar' we were thrilled since we've never worked with them before. They had similar ideas as we did for a video since we wanted a "down to earth" heavy metal video. No fancy stuff, just a lotta flying v's and head banging. We decided to let Morning Star follow us from load-in till doors close. And where better to capture the insanity of a Wolf gig than in Gothenburg/Sweden at the Belsepub on our Ravenous tour?
"All said and done! We give you a video with us, our fans, beer, guitars, tattoos, sweat and the works. We wanted the intense feeling of a club gig and we wanted to make it feel like "you're there". We thru in a few clips from a movie as well, just to give it an artistic feel... but truth said... we just wanted the head banging right?
"Working on a video including live clips make you wanna play live even more, so we're very excited to unleash this live fury on the upcoming gigs at the Rock Hard in Germany and also, for the first time for Wolf, in Malaysia at the Kuala Lumpur fest!
"So enjoy... we goddamn did... and still do!" More...

Wolf Confimed For Bloodstock Open Air Festival
The Bloodstock Open Air Festival web page has posted the following article regarding WOLF:
"Bloodstock are pleased to announce that Swedish Metal heads WOLF are to make a long awaited return to this year’s Bloodstock Open Air !!
Wolf are back with their long awaited new album Ravenous, the album has been getting rave reviews by all the music mags including Bloodstocks own media partners Metal Hammer who gave the album an impressive 8/10 ! The band’s sound has often been compared to that of Iron maiden which maybe why they have gained great exposure on the radio through Bruce Dickinson’s Radio 1 rock show.
Turning attention to Ravenous, it’s yet another platter of trademark Wolf metal. Straightforward and to the point, carved from the soul with an “if ain’t broke don’t fix it” AC/DC attitude even if the band’s approach was slightly different this time out from their previous album The Black Flame.
Replacing Goding and Kellgren on Ravenous are Anders Modd and Richard Holmgren respectively. Wolf is back to full strength, with all four members on the same page.
“When you get the right people back in the band it feels great,” says Losbäck. “I’ve known Anders for many years. He used to be in Tad Morose and I’m a fan of their stuff. I remember when they came out with the Modus Vivendi album; I thought it was the best Swedish metal album ever (laughs). I knew that Tad Morose wasn’t doing anything and that he really looking to get out there again, so we asked him to jump in and do few gigs to see where it would take him because he was still with Tad Morose at the time. He made his first appearance with us at the Bloodstock Festival and actually introduced himself by doing a striptease on stage (laughs). But, he’s been around, he knows the business, and he’s a great guy and knows his metal. There’s no beating around the bush, he’s all ‘take it or leave it’ just like us.” "
